Pops came over yesterday and we got started on fixing up the pool table. As of now the rubber bumpers have been glued on and the pockets cut. Glue is drying to install the pocket cushions then it will be time to start covering them with cloth. I may be being overly zealous in my thoughts but I'm hoping to get the slate (one piece) recovered today also. We shall see.

I didn’t feel like changing filters on the roof in the rain. In fact, I didn’t even feel like doing much of anything. I turned the van around for home. I got a haircut and when I got home I put on sweats and the news. Chillie & I dozed off a couple times. Tomorrow’ll be a new day.

Planted tomatoes, peas, and eggplant. I cut three blue plastic 55 gallon drums in half to make six more big planting tubs. That gives me 24 tubs for growing tomatoes. The memsahib has been busy germinating seeds and potting seedlings. Most are ready to be planted in the raised beds. We took mom and went shopping in the afternoon. Later we started extending the garden fence to encompass our new beds. We hope to finish the planting and get the rest of the fencing up over the next two days.

Worked on the pool table rails most of the day. Took some $$$ to a daughter (her own $) and watched the farrier shoe a horse. Started to staple the cloth to the rails and had some issues with the stapler. Going to consider buying one since this one is pops. Going out with a couple of the kids for teriyaki tonight then we'll deliver some to mom and dad. They were supposed to come over tonight and I was going to bring dinner here but mom took spill yesterday and is banged up so they are laying low at home close to the chair.

Starting to get things back in some semblance of order here, between starting work, and catching covid it's been even more chaotic than normal, LOL!...

Finished the pool table rails and installed the pockets. Played a few games with my daughter before she left for work. I have the slate raised and the old cloth removed. I need to clean it up and get ready to glue the new cloth down. Oldest son is in town for a night so we will be eating dinner from a restaurant tonight. Probably bring home bbq. I did more laundry, dishes and vacuumed the main rooms. Baked some cookies. Also picked up a few piles of things and put them back in place. I got a haircut earlier too. Not sure what to do next. I find that I'm wandering. I sure do miss Mrs. P and the three youngest boys.

Went to see the Doctor. Was surprised with the results. Told him what I wanted. He said that sounded reasonable (Whut tha!

). Wasn't sure I heard him right. So I splained' it again. He said yep we can do that. I was flat out floored. Never had a quack agree with me before. He wrote me the three prescriptions I had asked for while I stood there boggling. This saw bones does not know me well. Grabbed the scripts and made hasty hoofbeats for the door before the medicine man realized that I am not a responsible adult.

Ibuprofen, Xanax, and Geritol. There's gonna be a (slumber) Party!

I always have been able to get doctors to prescribe whatever I wanted. I like to think I'm pretty good at passing for a responsible adult for a few minutes when I have to. Adderall for ADHD is usually a tough thing to get if you are an adult. But by the second visit it was no problem and I had the doc sitting next to me on the couch while we looked at videos of her daughter singing.
