Thanks... gonna get alot of use out of it. I have 1/2 acre of woods to clear.
Oh yeah, the ATVs are gone. Sold them both.

Sam what do you like better about the kabotas than the gators? I need to get a utv just haven't had the time to do it.

They are easy to maintain, get in and out of, hydraulic dump, 4x4, lots of aftermarket goodies, and get parts any where. I operated one on a state preserve for 7 months and loved it. I would buy one in a heartbeat if I needed a utv.

What Kris said and they have the best suspension of any UTV I’ve driven and I’ve driven a bunch of them. Gators are hard tails but those huge rear tires provide a lot of suspension.  Kawasaki mules have a better four wheel independent suspension but hey tend to be slow.  The Kubotas are fast and they ride like a Cadillac.

Gators are slow too but we didn't get it for speed... we're over that. The days/nights of blasting up and down rock hills and through mud boggs are over for us.

Good info thanks guys. Neighbor had a cub cadet utv and it amazed me how it would ride over tree roots without tossing us around like I was expecting while wincing and bracing for a harsh impact then being releived it wss nowhere near what I foresaw.

Looks handy but I don't think Betty Lou would enjoy riding in the back.

How comfy is the driver compartment for old, non-agile, big, tall guys?  Leg room?

 For about four years I had the smallest UTV Kubota makes and it was just fine for my six foot six inch frame.  I like the smaller UTV’s because they can go a lot of places.  Bill’s Gator is about the right size.  I’d put a roll cage on it and call it done.
At home I have a twenty year old Snapper Grounds Cruiser.  It’s basically a Gator with an all steel body and a big old Briggs and Stratton engine.  It’s got the locking diff, a winch, and the dump bed but it’s also got an accessory hitch that lets me hang a garden plow or aerator on it.

Woke up this morning with Betty Lou's sister and BIL asleep in their van in our driveway. They came in from Ohio sometime during the night. They were on their way to Florida for the weekend.
We went out to breakfast and they left a bit before noon.
Soon as they left I head to Harbor Freight in Troy and bought the winch for the Gator. Spent the afternoon mounting that. All done except for running the wire to the battery. I'll get that done after mowing tomorrow morning.
Seat covers are on the way from China. I also installed a couple cup holders.
Next will be a good clean up. A few years of dirt and grime down in the bowels of it. I'll load it up on the trailer and take it to the local truck wash.

I worked outside for a total of 6 hours including 4 hours of mowing. There is still a couple of hours of mowing that needs done but, I think I'm done for the day now.

Finally got Hoosier Momma's 6th surgery scheduled!
May 21st.
Going to do a "lipoectomy" to vacuum out the thigh fat that was implanted onto her foot to save it.
Then comes another 4-6 weeks of no weight bearing.
