Made up a front sight for it as that scope is pure junk. W/E maxed out, corroded.(wood screws?)
 So anyway found a piece of plastic pipe that is a very snug fit, Glued the remains of a F.O. on it.

So last night after finding the scope was junk,I set about making a front sight for "Road Warrior"!
 Found a piece of black plastic pipe that slipped on the end of the cut down  barrel with great effort.  Cut it to length and filed a flat on one surface.
( a level spot to glue to)  Dug around and found a spare worn Fiber Optic  that had been on a crosman.
Got out the dremel and cut the top part of the sight off, and filed it flat.
  Super glued it, and let it dry until this afternoon.

Had a few minutes (everyone was gone!) so set up my pellet trap. Pumped it 5 pumps.
 Just as I shot, my landlord showed up.
 Okay, done deal........"DRT"  !!




 

May put the carry strap back on.

Back in my college days we would watch "The Tonight show," followed by "Mr.Ed" reruns, then "Wanted Dead of Alive" Reruns.
(The order of the last 2 may be reversed....can't remember...)
Then the TV station would go off the air and we had nothing better to so, so we sacked out. 0200........

Here we have a cable station called "me" tv. The days lineup includes The Rifleman,  Wagon Train, Bonanza, Wanted Dead or Alive, Gunsmoke. Watching Wagon Train as I write this.

I enjoy watching old westerns.

Growing up, it use to annoy me that my dad would watch them with the volume at full blast. Maybe, it was his plan to drive all us kids away from the tv.

LOL,maybe your Dad had my problem. This was a Father’s Day gift from my wife. She said it,s so we can watch tv at a “normal” volume setting.

Okay, I'll put this where it belongs,,,thought the Road Warrior was dead.
Took it apart and cleaned it... nothing. Oh, and the alcohol flush...nothing.
  Watched a video about a fast fix for the old pressure tube seal...the $30+  one.
 Did that,and replaced O ring on pump head,and now its putting holes in soup cans  at about  30 feet.    Good to go.

That's cool! I've never tried that hack but have read positive reports. Anything that saves $30 is a good deal.
