I appreciate the effort. A light .45 pellet may be one of those things that people will have to see in action for there to be a demand. The .45 Texan SS and some of the Korean .45s are just plain underpowered for launching heavy slugs at a flat shooting velocity. I suppose I’ll have to hold my nose and order the AAO one. Nothing against AAO, its just that $300 plus a 10 week wait is a hard pill to swallow.

I thought just maybe since it was plated not jacketed it might work... or that maybe could cast some of the Lee 452-200- rf and make it a hollow point to get weight down...It's base pour but maybe could jig up to machine a hollow base... The Berry's 185g HB was very accurate out of a acquaintances Ruger Vaquero at about 900 fps.seems like a hollow base nose pour mold could recreate it pretty well...
