I suppose the temperature gauge can only be removed/battery replaced by opening the case? Would be nice if it could be pulled straight out without opening the case, but I’m going to have to wait a year to try
The temp gauge is the exact same temp gauge that is used on the yong heng compressor except in Fahrenheit and uses 2 small round batteries. Its easy to change the batteries but I did remove the cover to do it. I hope you guys have better luck then I have had with my spark. First one broke the motor to pump coupler shaft and the motor @$%^ the bed on the second.

Would be nice if it could be pulled straight out without opening the case, but I’m going to have to wait a year to try Mine is still working fine, although I've used it less than 10 times. The temp gauge went out on mine - it was displaying funky digits. Hatsan sent new batteries, which didn't help, so they sent a new gauge. I asked about voiding the warranty by removing the case, this was their reply:"The gauge can be removed by pressing inward on both sides of the gauge from the underside. You will see how it is held in place with the compressor housing removed. The probe is held in place with a zip tie that can be cut away and replaced with a new one."They said this about the warranty:"This sticker has been included from the factory. However, simply removing the housing to replace the temperature gauge will not void your overall warranty."
How much vibration and sound do you all have when using it to fill?I fill my Fortitude from around 1300psi till the max 3000 psi. It takes about 4 to 5 minutes, but it shakes like heck. Now I’m also hearing a bit of pinging on each stroke—almost like a BB rattling. The shaking is much less when the pressure is closer to 0, and there is no pinging at that time either. What have your experiences been?
Well, if they say it can be removed by clicking on the sides, then I'm golden.
