i was asked by several members here to review what i encounter with my new 12vdc spark compressor.
basically it was packed very well with all the mentioned accessories.
i used my tractor's battery system to perform the 3 fills i did.

1st fill was for my Taipan veteran standard from 200 to 250bar.
the spark's pressure gauge reads in MPA so you must convert.... ::)
fill time was 8 minutes and the compressor's temp got to 166*f

2nd fill was for my hatsan flash rifle from 130 to 200bar.
fill time was 10 minutes and max temp got to 171*f

3rd fill was for my SamYang Recluse from 150 to 200bar
fill time was 8 minutes and max temp was 160*f

so to conclude this review, i will say that the spark is what hatsan says it is....
only con i can say is that the temp gauge needs to be in BAR like the majority of the airguns on the market today(that i have).....

anyone have questions about anything, just holler !!
i will do what i can.

and i do thank yall for look'n and hava great sunday evening...... 8)

Thanks for posting! I am confused, though. I thought by looking at the pics of this compressor the temp gage shows in Fahrenheit? Is it the pressure gage your talking about, not reading in BAR?

Glad your happy with it. Lord knows Hatsan needs some more positive reviews, lol.

I just topped off my tank from 3400 to a solid 4500 with my lightning yesterday. Took around 13 minutes, and highest the temp got to was 133 degrees F. Love that thing!

pressure gauge needs to be in BAR instead of Mpa....sorry about that  :-[
and
the temp gauge is in Fahrenheit

FS- Fieldsupply.com. Right now that Lightning compressor is on sale in the $900ís.  No one else offers it for that low a price.

The Hatsan Lightning compressor got a bad rap to a couple bad reviews, and for some reason itís been given the dark cloud. For some reason, the Yong hangs that have post after post on every major air rifle forum also does get bad posts from some that have bought, it still keeps trucking along in sales, it seems. The AirVenturi has seen its share of a few un happy folks, but it still trucks along. For some reason, though, the Hatsan, which I believe to be a top notch residential type of compressor(have to add that), still has the black cloud. Over on AGN there are more happy buyers of this Lightning than over here on GTA, and hopefully their positive experiences will revive the sales of this thing. I truly enjoy mine more so than the rifles themselves, and look forward to using it every time. The only things that have gone wrong since I took ownership of one in July 2018 is the digital gage minus button sticks when depressed, and the fill whip developed a leak. I filled out the customer service form on Hatsanís website, sent a couple of pics when they request it, and bam! New ones in the mail within five business days.

The features it has of the auto purge, auto stop, choices of BAR or PSI pressure readings, Fahrenheit reading, and a self check that wonít allow you to turn on the compressor w/o the cooling pump on first is priceless to me. Thereís even a ladyís voice that will tell you itís good to go to turn on!

The one thing that scared me off of this unit is the terrible customer service Hatsan has been giving. A week or more to respond is too long! :(

Call Pyramyd airs repair, which is AirVenturi, and they will help you out NOW. Not an email back asking for more info, or really lame suggestions from some one who has NO Idea of what they are talking about.  Once a week or more for answers that don't do anything is bad. Really Bad!.

the few things i have had trouble with, i always filled out the online customer service form and requested to return items for repair or replacement.
that same day i got a response , or the next if during the week.
first thing monday morning if i requested on the weekend.
they always emailed me a return label for shipping and within a week or so the items where repaired or replaced quickly.
i even got a follow-up email from HatsanUSA wanting to know if i was satisfied.

i would not hesitate to purchase anything they have if thats what i want.
they have been great with customer service and i will continue to buy there
products.

the main reason some folks have had trouble with them is they failed to contact them through there online customer service form.

after reading several folks complaints here, i mentioned the form and they had not a clue...... so, "it is what it is"  ::)

I have a couple Hatsan products but never dealt with them directly. Heard the rumors but I find that more people post about the bad than the good.

My experience with them started off rocky with all the problems I had with the refurb BullBoss, but in the end they did come through for me, and it's been problem free since then.  I also picked up an AT44-10S from Amazon that was 3 years old even though it was sold as new.  The air tube leaked from both ends, but Hatsan sent me a return label and I had the repaired air tub back a week later.  I just recently bought some parts and they were pretty responsive with that order as well.

Quick question.

What was the ambient temperature during your initial fills?

The same pump is available unbranded on AliExpress and includes a power supply. I intend to order one soon. Don't forget to order a water separator as well.
