Awesome job! I've been wanting to do something similar as I hate that pickle. Where did you get your 1/2 UNF adaptor?

Wow shroud has really tightened up the groups- best group I have ever shot with this gun and in windy conditions...H&N FTT 14.66 - 4.535 Shots at 40 yards, Bipod...

Where did you get the baffles and other internal parts for the shroud?Done in house 1/2 UNF adaptor over barrel cut down end of barrel 1/2 inch to allow good fit and add this baffle system to it:https://www.pyramydair.com/product/crosman-np214-001-trail-baffle?a=7784 – Note the end fits perfectly into the Carbo Fiber tube and seals the end, the inner section has an Oring groove, you need to put one on and drill some holes in the top of the channels made for air to allow the air to flow backwards into the shroud as the 1/2 unf adaptor blocks these natural holes…Carbon fiber tube:End cap bored out to fit over barrel close to breech, this is bored out to fit barrel OD and rests up against a smaller 16mm (I believe) ID carbon fiber sleeve that fits up against the block, this holds the shroud in position, of course I have four drilled holes towards rear in shroud to allow air to come backwardsHope this helps

I have questions related to your comment on the adapter "blocking these holes"? Where are you talking about to drill holes in the channels to compensate for this "block"? Also, you said you drilled 4 holes in the shroud. Where/why did you drill these holes? Thanks

I typically get slightly tighter groups once psi is down at about 2300-2400 with the 10.3 grain stuff but it was to cold and I knew I would be the weak link and was satisfied with what I saw... will test further when this cold spell passes in a week or two... will see how the Sniper Mags, Monsters, and other pellets do... heck down at 1800 psi the 7.9 Benjis do very well at 30-35 yards...wonder how Sniper Meds and Winnie Domed will do...yep will be fun testing my pellet collection again... would be cool if it helps the light stuff handle a bit more psi...
Shot it for afew months with barrel band removed, yes it improved accuracy, but since I shortened the barrel slightly and added shroud, the groups have tightened up more...The shroud is tensioning the barrel...

Mike you did a fantastic job and it's a shooter!! Can't ask for more than that.
