Would someone else try the links to see if they still work for them? I tried and didn't have any issues but since they are my links maybe they are only working for me. If somehow they got old and quit working, I can repost them.

The actual links in message #115 work fine. I think the problem may have been that the file names are in message #114 in text form and are not links.

Just a guess...

Worked for me, as of this morning, via my phone. That's how I got the screenshots.

You won't be able to open it, if the device you're using don't have a PDF reading software.

I got mine today.

I installed a rubber tubing to the u bracket, and applied electrical tape to the v base to help protect the barrel/shroud.

I turn the unit upside down so I can shoot with the scope, and keep an eye on any changes in velocity.

So far, I'm really liking this device! Thanks again for posting about this, guys!

I got mine yesterday in the mail finally. I got the tripod version. It works great other than being too light. The muzzle blast moves it around a little over a few shots. I'm going to pick up a better table top tripod with rubber feet for it and I'm sure that will be fixed.

I just tested it against my Caldwell, work the .25 Armada: 823fps on the Caldwell; 250mps(820fps) on the muzzle meter

I now have the unit turned sideways, with the reader on the left side of the gun. Much easier to read than upside down.

Try searching for Velocimetry on Aliexpress. https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB_20200329070035&SearchText=velocimetry On the first page there were about 55 chronys. (500+ hits). They have 3 digit versions (clamp on) and 4 digit versions (tripod) as well as some 'standard' chronys. It seems to be the 10th year anniversary of Aliexpress, so they seem to be offering some discounts.

Before CV, the shipping time from China was decent. After/during CV shipping has been very delayed. Your mileage may vary. I ordered some machining items 6 weeks ago, and the tools have yet to leave China. Tracking information is not illuminating. Just have to wait it out.

Quite pleased with my tripod model. It's mounted on a real tripod (not the junky one that comes with it). If mine died right now, I'd order another one without hesitation.

I like to be able to shoot for accuracy and chronograph at the same time....two birds with one stone. It also helps when figuring out the effects of velocity changes...especially for unregulated airguns.

I bought this one. It is much lighter and smaller but I've been having iffy reliability with it though it's accuracy matched my Caldwell. One time it worked great. The next time off and on. The next time, not at all. :-(

Did you guys see the warning about do not use wile charging ? Will cause damage to the unit.

I se on on Amazon that claims 1500ms bit can't find it at Ali . Just the 999ms or 500ms . Oh and there's a 80 count memory one to.

All I see the need is shoon5 or so check speed and move on anyway from time to time.

One more thing , how as he shipping experience from China on your items?
