Yeah, it ended up super nice with the shellac, but yesterday after I scope it I was

For adjustable comb height, that is easy on the funds etc.

I have heard that using the 2 strap elbow brace without the hole, comes in several sizes, and works very well,
just add a thickness of foam underneath to suit the height that you need, and strap it down.

I have one coming for LL, so I'll find out, as I need more comb height also.

Hey Dpittman, 2 of my 3 guns have a slow leak. I have torn down one of the guns to change all the orings as I can detect where the leak is coming from. So, looking at the list of orings needed for this gun I noticed that the manual uses the cross section by the outter diameter in MM. Every oring manufacturer uses the CS x inner Diameter. So, I'm measuring every oring so far the manual has the air tube oring with outter diameters. Be careful if you order orings that you actually measure the o ring.

Also, the pellet probe oring is wrong. The outer diameter is 1.5x4(inner diameter) not 1.5x 7(outer diameter)
The transfer port oring the same thing 7mm outer diameter.

Mine has been doing the same thing, takes about 1.5 weeks to leak down from 3k psi to 2k psi.
I took the action out of the stock today and used some bubble juice to find the leak, it was the o-ring at the receiver end of the air tube. I lubed it up with some silicon oil and put it back together, hopefully that fixed it.

I thought it was pretty heavy when I removed it from rifle. I even thought about getting a long drill bit, and drilling a few holes from the butt. I figured I would probably screw up and run a drill bit out the side if the stock, so I didn't. Probably wouldn't make much difference anyway.

I sure would like to have a breakdown view of the Nova Freedom. I dont know if this is normal, but mine is doing something kinda strange. I can pump it up to 3000+ psi and it will shoot 6 or 7 shots and then go completely down to ZERO. So I paid a little closer attention to it and it seems that once it gets down to below 2000 psi, maybe nearer to 1000psi, the next shot will dump it down to absolute zero pressure !!! is that normal ? maybe this is why the gun was returned? its funny tho, because it will lose only about 100psi overnight, which I figure isn't all that bad.

Also, forgive me if this has been addressed already, but does anyone know what fill probe will work with the freedom? I didn't get one with my returned gun. Does any available probe work, and if so, can someone give me a link to one ? maybe on ebay or aliexpress?

I'd really love to tear this gun down and replace any seals and o-rings.. just for piece of mind that I've done all I can to get it to shoot as it should.

i think most of the parts will interchange between the two rifles. i personally think the Freedom receiver is better made for regulated bottles. and i am ordering one...why not at $100 haha.

Took stock off yesterday and as soon as it came off I heard air leaking. I did not hear it when stock was on. Anyhow it was coming out between plenum and block. Took apart and relubed that oring and the one in the bottom of plenum. Seems to be holding or at least very much slowed down. With a 3400 fill this gun will shoot at least 40-50 shots down to about 2200. Shoots 14.3 cphp at about 915-925 on reg.

That's terrible. USPS lost a gun I sold and shipped to the buyer for about 2 weeks. They finally found it and it safely made it to the buyer. I think I was bothered more by it than the buyer.

Nova Liberty .22 (returned) in wood stock. 3/8 turn on regulator, 2 shims on hammer spring. havent crony'd it yet. This is 15 shots at 52 yards and it was windy...

same as Stephen used. maybe a total of .1 inch. i.e. two shims at .05 inch each. just standard, everyday home depot washers.

Good news, my plastic and wood guns arrived. Fedex lost them, claimed the label was illegible. I pointed it out to the driver, he said "hey!". The label was perfect. Fedex the company still doesnt know where they are.

I just got my BSA probe for mine today, I'll need to put a spacer on it but right now if I just eyeball it I can use it. It goes in too far the way it is but it's a nice stainless probe too, it was on the pricey side ($26 to my door) though. I did put 1K in the gun already but I'll exhaust it before I reassemble the gun.
