Dove into my leaky Seals totally blown out FX DRS. I bet it got too hot in my truck last summer and it couldn't take the pressure, the inner barrel orings took the brunt of the pressure and let go. I ran out of sick day energy and will continue today.
Mounted a BSA scope on the Umarex Embark and sighted it and now its ready to give to my great grand son who is 14 years old. He's pumped up to get it. Charles
I did some testing and a little tinkering with my mid 50's Crosman 147.Accuracy wasn't great, and I was getting a lot of air in my face.It turns out the screw linking the cover to the bolt was bent so I sorted that out, and the " locking " surface on the bolt cover was heavily dinged in so it needed to be peened back. After getting that sorted out accuracy improved greatly as expected, the bore is great and I got very pronounced rifling grooves on the pellets so I knew that wasn't the problem. After enough shooting the power and air intake per pump stroke also picked up.It was taking a minimum of 4 pumps to set the striker before but now it's running on 3 like it should.Next will be to deal with the stock finish after my aniline dye arrives.

Tightening the screw in the bolt significantly reduced the air in the face and report in the face. Still a loud pop, but not like when the screw was loose. I tired putting a spare oring I had for the p1 on the probe to try and reduce the pop and maybe gain some fps, but it was just a little outsized for the job.
I sprinted home from work yesterday so I could grab the dog and head for the woods before dark. I got in an hour of sitting at the squirrel spot and continuing Belle’s training. She’s got the basic hand signals down now so we are going to start more complicated tasks.
