What airgun related did you do today?

 I ran all my Hy-Score 815 parts through the ultrasonic cleaner. It really did a good job, this thing might look ok when I'm finished!
The bore looked like an old water pipe, couldn't see any rifling at all. Now it looks shiny and perfect a nice result.

A friend who I have know for about 65 years has become interested in shooting.   He came over to my place and we shot some AGs off the deck, 50 ft. and 50 yards.   It was an unbelievably nice, dry, 75 degree day so perfect weather for shooting.   He wanted a scope for his rifle so I pulled a Hawke 2-7  off of my Webley and mounted it on his rifle for him.

We have been upgrading the bar area. We opened up and painted the nook where the pc desk now lives. In the pic below the lefthand side wall is furnished. The righthand wall... not so much. I mean it has a wall hanging gun rack that I made from live edge cedar slabs but the lower half is bare. It was a TBD space.

Yep... a standing gun rack will go along that wall.

Looks like I got something to do tomorrow.... besides watching Betty Lou's paint dry.

Yeah, give or take 100 or so. I never really counted. When he went into the nursing home (we lived down the dirt road at the other place) he sent all his knives, guns and odds and ends collectables to us for safe keeping. When he decided to stay in the nursing home and get rid his assets he gave me all of it. I had it all in the bar building until his ex wife sold that property. Now it's mostly all packed in wooden ammo boxes and buckets. Guns are in my gun safe.

It was a bit tricky.. I ripped a piece of 5/8 deck board and wanted to keep the rounded front edge so I had to set up the drill press with a jig and just barely catch the front edge with the pilot bit of the hole saw bit. Then I had to turn it over and back drill each hole because the hole saw bit was 1/8 short of going through.
But I got it done on the first try.

I got ya covered..
After the Daisy rack I got the 922 out and tested the 6 shot clips that Back Roads sent me. I shot 5 or 6 clips at the 20yd target off the front porch.
Tomorrow I get to rearrange all the airgun locations... if I don't get roped into joining the paint crew.

 Pulled the barrel shroud off the '96 Daisy 880
   and recrowned the barrel and did Stony's tape mod.
