What airgun related did you do today?

Been out in the Red Shed this morning messing around with the bug out twins. One is a 2240 carbine and the other is a 1377 rear cocking carbine. I found and old Polaroid PDC 3070 Digital camera in a drawer from back in the day and put some batteries in it. I took a couple pics of the guns but I guess the SD Card is corrupt. I couldn't get them to transfer to the laptop. I formatted the card and still no joy. Oh well, I got plenty other ways of taking pics around here.
I tossed it back in the drawer and went back to shooting the legos.

I bore sighted the m50 pistols red dot at 15-20 feet. The fixed sights are a touch off to the left. I might have to check to see if something is slightly out of square.

 Changed out the barrel and probe on the 1377 RC to .22

Shot the 8.8 crow mags and 8.64 ftts in .52 and spitkugels. It's an 8+ grain h&n video over here. [chuckling]

I begin every morning with coffee and the GTA. I've been doing that since the day I joined the forum more than 10 years ago.
Mostly I use it to get airgun related inspiration. I read what others are enjoying and apply what resources I have available to enhance our airgunning experience.
We've been doing alot of that "enhancing" lately and not much "enjoying" the results. I think for the next few days I just want to shoot airguns.

Three years ago I had reduced the population of squirrels so much that I decided last year to give them a pass. If they become a nuisance I'll start back on them. We have enjoyed watching them this year, they are so funny.  I feed the birds black oil sunflower seeds and I enjoy making the bird feeders a challenge for the squirrels and see how they try different methods to reach the seeds.

mowed the Lawn and sat back to watch the Mocking birds eat the bugs and got bit by a Black widow spider right in the ARSE Right side cheek, it was hiding in my little folding camo chair, it got squished and then bit me, going to see the doc today, took some Benadryl to help stop itching..... found the dead spider next to the chair... can't blame it, it got sat on by a big fat ....Guy....

Man.. I got it bad...
I went out with every intention of shooting while it was still cool this morning. I even aired up the NoDoze and shot 2 15 rnd mags.
Then the secret squirrel syndrome began kicking in....
I have always toyed with the idea of putting some type of railing across the front of the North Range shootin' deck. The urge was too strong to overcome this morning and I couldn't get my mind off of my options...
I have a 50' ship mooring rope or I could cut natural wood to match the posts or I have seasoned 20' sections of sugar cane poles.
I decided to go with the sugar cane poles. I ran 3 rails across the front.
Next Betty Lou came up with the idea of running a string of clear LED twinkly lights around the inside of the top.
After finishing up, cleaning up the mess and putting the tools away we finally got to airguns. We set up the cans and paintballs at 25yds. and got out the Crosman 367 .177 carbines and a tin of Norma 9.1 heavies.
After one game the heat of the day just became too much for it to be fun and we ran for the comforts of the a/c in the house.
Ok, so we got it all lit and ready for night time shooting.... maybe it will cool off enough to give it a try this evening. Or maybe we'll organize our first morning breakfast fun shoot.... Betty Lou's sausage and cheese on toasted muffins and coffee with a side of plinking.

Brooke and I sometimes do co2 and coffee (ie colt peacemaker and model 26 replicas with a cup of joe and a cigar box full of shells in the basement).

I thought a lot about 700 vs 800 fps with h&n pellets and the guns I got.
