I left the dark side.
Was on a dog driven rabbit hunt with the wing shot, after the hunt, I let my friend shoot the Wing Shot and the .25 Vectis, he had seen modern air rifles on youtube, and has been a life long Dan owner, this was a hands on eye opener.
Had a brain storm. I have about 4 lbs of reclaimed pellets from the first one of my traps. I wanted to melt them down into ingots that would fit in my furnace pot... but what to use for a mold?AH-HA! old pellet tins, I knew I was saving them for a reason!Gave the interior a wipe down of silicon oil and poured the molten lead into the tin. The first two were the smooth sided short tins from Meisterkugeln's that went well.. but when I used the taller tin from 500 count H&N .22's that have the knurled bottom edge that was an EPIC FAIL! Stuck like glue... I tried peeling if off with a pair of side cutters but it just comes off in slivers. This morning my hands look like I was in hand to hand combat with a straight razor and the bottom is still intact.
Can you heat them up with a torch and knock them out?
I did the same thing a few years ago. Got a dollar store mini muffin pan for the job and it does the trick. Crosman tins work well for holding RWS pellets since RWS does not have the sense to thread their lids. Love Meisters but hate the tins.

Moving right along... There was an old decorator wooden wishing well on the property It's old and very weathered. It makes a great place to hang card stock targets. The little roof keeps the target dry in the rain. I screwed a couple gator clips to it to hang the targets with. I have it set out to 20yds. for low power paper punching. I could also run a light cord out to it for some night shooting. Or even a solar powered flood light.

LOL... leave it to Scott for putting a new spin on "Get the lead out"
Good work Matt. There is a lack of sights these days. I would like to see options for a clamp on target front sight for PCP rifle shrouds . Stay at it brother.
