I plan to fire it with just the Emperor than add the 6.5" extension if needed.
I'll fire with no rounds first then probably tie a string to it to shoot a bullet!
Thing is cool but does scare me a bit!
 

I saw Lloyd-ss blow a chrony nearly to pieces with his .51 cal so I have a lot of respect for this .50!

Yeah, 250 bar is serious bee-knees.   I'd like a 520 FPS .50 along with some .50 wadcutters (hey, I can dream!) for squirrel duty, personally.  Something akin to what you have, just a stubby 12" barrel and 24" LDC   Does that make me a bad person?

Weighed out pellets for the Prince to shoot. Having real success with the NOE .357 that is dropping 102gr pellets. Looking at keeping the group to 1" at 50yds, don't need to go any further because of the thick vegetation I hunt in.

Installed a cantilever scope mount on my Benji Trail .22..Just couldn't get comfortable with eye relief. Now all is good. Bought a tin of Crow Magnums and shot until fingers got numb..cold here. Never shot that many grains before...pretty accurate just had to hold over from my 14.3 grain scope settings...Good day👍

Did some tuning on my 22 cal marauder. Pulled the reg and lowered it a 100 bar. Think I need to throw a .161 TP in it to level it out a bit.

Pricing out parts for a PRod project for down the road, then comparing to the Kral NP-0x carbines.  Gut feeling tells me the Kral has more potential at a better price.  Looking at .25 and yeah, Kral just has their act together. 

I hope Crosman steps up with the PRod at some point

I attached some studs and made a leather sling for the Crosman 180.



I should have the seal kit tomorrow and can reseal it.

I put together my 2240 in near-stock format.  All it has is a Baker aluminum breech and a Davio extended probe/bolt handle.  Too cold to shoot CO2 outside, so maybe I'll dig up some o-rings and build a buffer/BStaley the next couple of days.

I'd love to build a stubby 2540.

Made for an airsoft replica of the rare Beretta m93 Raffica iirc, and don't really have a great reputation for being very sturdy or being good when a cheek weld is wanted.

They are cool for sure though.
Personally I'd rather have something along the lines of a mini Uzi stock or an Mp5 stock.
Heck I'd really love a 2240 with a holster stock, the old school slab stock with strapped on leather flap holster like they made for the Luger pistol.
Now that would be sweet.

Where I work, We have a retention pond behind the plant.
This summer a pair of Muskrats moved in, now there are 6.
Last week I made the comment to my Maintenance crew I should bring in an airgun to control the population.
 Today the Quality Manager came to me out of the blue and said... "So, you have airguns? I have been wanting one for the Starlings raiding my bird feeders.. are the quiet?"
 I felt obliged to give him a short lesson on air rifles.
I watched his eyes glaze over when I explained the difference in Multi-pumps, Co2, Springers, and PCPs...
 Sensing he was on sensory overload, I said "How about I bring you a simple break barrel to try" thinking one of my XS-12's.
 He said "Really, you have an extra?"
I responded with "Sure, last count I had 34..."
 His jaw hit the floor.

I got a live one here... time to throw a log on the fire.

yup. And he'll need a CO2 gun- the 2240 is fine, but show him a CCS 2400KT with a Rocker1 LDC- and mention the LW barrewl option, delivered to his home for  $150.  HOSPs and starlings?  Not a problem.

I concur with 34 being too low a number to honestly admit to "having a spare", but loaner, sure.

I get the glazed over look and the wandering looks when I talk with other gun enthusiasts at work too.  It’s all about AR15s and AR10s and 6.5 Creedmoor or .338 Lapua or .308 or....  you get the point.  The I start in with airguns and and I can see that it’s gets dismissed.  I’m just waiting for the day when I can pair up my lowly .22 Streamline next to one of their .22 RF rifles and show them what it will do and how quiet it will do it.  Maybe someone will be impressed but really, I don’t care.  I’m having fun in my backyard with my people and that’s what matters to me.  I would like to build my own AR but I would probably never shoot it.  I bought a Ruger MKIV last year.  Ive shot it once, maybe twice.  Don’t remember exactly.  Now it just sits in the case like my other pistols and rifles.  I have a Ruger model 1 in .270 that I have NEVER even shot!  I haven’t shot my 7mm mag in years.  I have a 12 gauge shot gun that has never been fired!  I shoot some type of AIRGUN nearly everyday!  Crazy 😝

I get it! I get that glazed, bored out of my mind look as well when people talk to me about subjects or interests that just doesn't appeal to me. Trying to empathetic, I don't talk about my hobbies with others. If they happen to ask, I'll tell them, but won't go into much details, if any. If they inquire a bit more, I feed them a bit more. I try to gauge it that I don't become that person that goes on and on and can't pick up the fact that they have lost their audience.
I enjoy what I enjoy, and don't really feel the need to share it with everyone I know or meet. In regards to my hobbies, I don't mind at all be a recluse.
