Asking anyone here who owns a rear cocking 2240 or 13xx, if you can get me a video of how that opperates? I cant find any videos on youtube of someone loading/shooting the gun, just videos of it sitting on a table...Somewhat had a small idea to turn my incoming 2240 to rear cocking but i have no idea how the bolt and cocking mechanism(s) work... So im not too sure how to ghetto rig one up if i had any parts/stuff for it.
Opened the box with the Crosman 1377 pistol that A.K.A. Tommy Boy gifted to me.Wow, these later models are a LOT lighter than the vintage rear cocker that was stolen from me.I will try to shoot it a little bit tomorrow.Thanks again Tom!!!

Here is a pick of the Rear Cocking Knob/Hammer and the Sear that was used in those.But how does that opperate with the loading probe/bolt action? Thats my main question. I can pull the hammer and cock it, but how do i load/close the bolt/probe?

I can pull the hammer and cock it, but how do i load/close the bolt/probe?There is not a hammer pin linking the bolt handle or bolt cover on them, so the bolt handle or bolt cover works independently to just open the bolt and load the pellet when closed. Newer style bolt breeches with a blot handle will work or the older style breeches that have a bolt cover that has a screw that connects it to the bolt. i hope that is clearer than mud!Some what. I beleive i understand 2/3 of how/what happens.... a video would explain alot but again i cant find one

Well, for 24 hours or so Monday, I found a buy it now on the eBay auctions & bought the like-new AIR17. Then later that evening, I won two auctions by the same seller for the Daisy 1894 30-30 NRA commemorative. Also for the Limited Edition 1894 saddle gun. Both NOS! Original boxes, papers...and hang tags! It seems to be a rare thing for the hang tags to still exist with vintage boxed rifles. And all thanks to my federal return finally being released. They are due in tomorrow and Friday. Oh yeah. That's four NOS rifles I've won on the eBay auctions. AIR17; NRA Centennial NOS; Limited Edition 1894 Centennial NOS;
Fer sher, man! Many don't understand they're posting a, " maximum bid". Took some getting used to, since their software caught up with the 3 second sneak. I think the hardest win I have to date was for the Crosman model #70 Pellgun. But well worth the effort!
Just started heating up a batch of smelted lead I'm getting ready to use making the next size heavier wad cutters in .25 caliber.
I think sleeping with your gun qualifies for the original topic.
