I asked the guy where he got it and he wasn't sure. He thought a friend gave it to him. He knew nothing about the GTA.
I tried to buy it but he wasn't selling it. I wanted to get a picture but Betty Lou left the phone in the car.

I saw that exact saying a lot on the VTXOA board years ago, I don't remember if they had a bumper sticker but it seems to me that they did. Darkside there referred to a car tire on the back of the Honda VTX. I like to lean smoothly into the corners so the idea was never appealing to me even though I like cookies . My 1979 XS1100 Special's stock rear tire was shaped like a car tire and I hated it, since I liked to be able to drag parts in the twisties. I also like soft sticky rear tire for the same reason even though I wear most out in about 4,000 miles average.

Decided to adjust the trigger on the Sig ASP20. I will probably add to my review of this gun.

I started to clean up my summer airgun mess in the shop.  I need access to my table saw and miter saw. 

I should probably put together a pellet order for some JSB 8.4s or AA 8.4s.   I’m just being cheap right now.  I have spent a ton of money this 2019 on airgun stuff.  It seems that my airgun budget keeps growing each year, not getting smaller like I think it should? 

I really need to slim the collection down.  I have such a hard time selling stuff off.  And looking at the classifieds lately (various airgun sites) it seems like a person has to nearly give stuff away!  It’s definitely a buyers market at the moment.

I shot my D48 for the first time in a while. I got caught up in BP, a d a .22 LR build. Its kept too consumed to mess with my air rifles. But on the way home from work today, I got the itch. My faithful D48 scratched that itch perfectly.

I tested my RWS 34P I got from Cabela's on the promo price of $160, out to 40 yards.  I'll be posting a down and dirty review shortly of three items:

Field and Stream 4x32 shotgun scope on a breakbarrel

Vortek PG2 sub 12 fpe kit.

Long story short, 1.5" 10 shot group at 40 yards with unsorted CPUM right out of the tin, even shooting the visibly dented skirts.  No loctite, screws have not moved on the scope or the rifle since I zeroed and plinked last weekend.

Had already done the credit card trigger mod on my newest 880, but wanted the trigger even lighter for shooting off the bench.
I just added a metal shim from a drink can on top of the credit card.... about a pound and a half trigger with zero creep now!

Today, I picked up the 6 guns, cases, and the variety of pellet tins, bags, rest, chrony that were in the family room from this weekends activities and hid them under the bed, in the safe, and on the work bench.

I really don't see the problem here. Our whole house is a gun room.

I updated my guns list by caliber, manufacturer, model, serial number and value and put it in the safe with other documents.  This was done for Mrs. Oldgringo in the likely event that I would not be here to assist with their disposal.
