Set up my new HP filter and ran a pressure test. The freedom 8 ran for ~10 minutes to reach 3500 PSI. So that will add 10 minutes of run time to the usual 90 minute fill time for the SCBA tanks

Melting down spent ammo to make new ammo. Enjoying the new moulds from NOE. Getting ready to order skid plates for tractor so can get serious with the jungle without busting something. Want to get one shooting lane built before the summer rains get here.

I topped off all 3 of my tanks 2 - SCBA 45 minute tanks and my Joe B Guppy. If tomorrow is nice I will take a ride out to Brookhaven range for some long distance shooting with the .30 Marauder and Air Speed .25

By blowing a fan across my shop compressor virtually all the moisture is wrung out of the air before it hits the Freedom 8. when I finished off the HP tanks lots of water droplets from stage 1 tank. Moisture trap after the Freedom 8 air was virtually bone dry. I am still going to use a  HP desiccant filter after the moisture trap and before the air tanks. That will guarantee dry air in the tanks and the PCP's

I got my new 1399 stock mounted to the 1377 RC with the longer barrel. Dug around, and used 459 mounts to ad a little 4x (Daisy) scope
to it. Sighted in shooting matchsticks taped to my target.

Been dreading working on and cleaning my Crosman 766b BUT it actually stayed together, unlike my 766a or am77 (2100). I think I put one of the washers on in the wrong order. I actually found it that way. That washer is absent on my other guns.

I’m still missing a couple of parts for the 766b.

Way ahead of ya Scott. We don't have much rain in the spring in this area, start drying out in march and the summer stuff don't start until June. With this weather pattern the way it is I have no idea what it is going to do next. Half the battle with my property is the wet, soggy ground that is common here. When it does dries out the ground is like concrete. It goes from one extreme to another. I just take it one day at time here.

Made a new safetybox cause the old one got so many holes that the stuffing falls out...
You need a box, some old clothes that mysteriusly have shrunken during the past months, something hard, this time i used a frypan, but steelplates work also, some strong tape and a sissor, wrapp the clothes and pack them tight in the bottom, then the frypan and then some more layers of clothes, tape the box together and testfire at it, best to do that outside and not against your better halfs vintage vas collection...

Cleaned up the replacement .22 barrel for my Varmint.  It was chock-full of various unidentifiable substances along with good ol' Cosmolene.  I cleaned up the leade and deburred the transfer port, then touched up the crown.  I may end up lopping off a centimeter or so of the muzzle and start fresh, but we'll see.  Barrel definitely has a choke.  I then reattached the barrel, including adding an o-ring to the breech.  This particular Varmint came to me without one as well as missing a couple set screws... Not really worried about any of these things- it was purchased with an understanding that it was a SPA PR900, a pre-assembled kit-gun.    To keep things kosher, I also attached the second barrel band- this is one PCP that I know will benefit.  If the barrel was only 10" or so, I think you could get by with just one...

Then I pumped it up to 1k and will let it sit until next weekend.

Side Note: coulda sworn I ordered a .177 barrel from PA when I placed my order, but what I have received is a .22 barrel.  I'll have to double check... and again, not too worried.  The original barrel will likely be chopped down and repurposed.

Started to make a shooting platform for my window. It just slides down over the sill. Might just need to brace the longer part ( easy peasy ) I'll see if I have some plywood around for the rest, and the sand bag area. Or a 1x6.
