What airgun related did you do today?

After mowing the barn acre and pulling the front tires off the mower to see if I could fix the air leaks (one fixed and one needs a valve stem) I opened the shooting window and sat down at the bench. The Xisico Sentry was still set up from yesterday so I cracked open the valve on the tethered tank and sent 3 mags of lead downrange while I cooled off in the a/c.
I have a 6 paddle resettable flipper set on the saw horse circle in red at 40yds. I can flip them and knock them back down at will. I have yard sale stickers (dime size) on the red steel blank hanging on the tree next to the saw horse. I can peel the stickers 9 out of ten shots. When I miss it's me, not the gun.

I installed the trigger pack from a Daisy 1938B RR Carbine into a Marlin Cowboy 350.
It shoots again!

LOL Carter... the problem with "us guys" is that there is not "another wall". They are all covered with airguns... I have a feeling yours will be as well before long.

Checked my "to do" list after checking off the zturn motor swap it appears that I'm back down to airgun related stuff. Next up is painting and stickering all the targets. With the steel blanks hanging on the trees I set up saw horses and lay them out. Betty Lou and I scrap all the old scraps of stickers off and paint them with thinned out latex house paint and a roller. When dry we apply the Walmart dime size yardsale stickers. Every time we go to Walmart or Lowes we look for the mistakes in the paint mixing department. I usually get a gallon or 2 for $10 each. I can make 3 gallons from one.
I spay the flipper targets with dollar store white black or red... whatever is cheap. Once one side it shot up, all can be turned to shoot the other side. I can usually get a month or so of shooting between paintings.
We can make a day of sipping cold adult beverages and painting targets.

That is a great looking wall Carter. I didn't do much today. There isn't much to do at the moment. I was starting to feel a little antsy so I gave the Steve Corcoran stock for my gen 2 177 a rub down with some lemon furniture polish. It's an amazing stock. Only an idiot like me would have that much coin into a lowly custom marauder lol.

 The weekend activities and the heat kept me from shooting much and the urge was not strong

Made a cleaning pull for the Factor to clean out the barrel gunk on it. Rounded up all the 30 cal. stuff to shoot with.  Ordered extra male foster QD for the Factor's long female QD. The foster fitting on the gun is flush with the stock and it's kind of hard to get a standard QD in there. Beats a probe any day.

I have one of my "lego" guns that leaks down overnight. It's a 2k gun that uses , a 2260 tube and trigger group, a disco pinned valve and fill assy. and a vintage 180 wood stock. It sports one of my chopped and crowned 18" .22 barrels that is surprisingly accurate and a Challenger power adjuster. I think I'll take that into the walk in cooler (the casting shack) and tear it down for a reseal. I recently bought the large SAE and Metric oring kits from Harbor Freight so I should have what I need.
This should be a great candidate for tethering to my 2k 30 minute scba tank.

I rough zeroed my Umarex Buck Mark .177 pistol with a reflex sight.
I'll be playing with that today torturing coke cans at 50'.

Pumpers lose a lot of their appeal when the temperatures peak.  This is CO2 season!  Get yourself an XS60C or a QB78!

Still waiting for parts for the Crosman 760 so I mounted a Crosman 4X15 scope on it and hung it on the wall.  Looks good.

Going to reinstall the action of my hatsan 135 back in it's stock. It's just way too hot to work on it in the airgun shed. 🥵😡😡 Don't want to take the chance of it getting damaged or parts lost.
