What airgun related did you do today?

 I knocked my 2100 with a 3-9x44 scope off the bench for the second time this week this time it landed on the scope and the spring loaded see through mounts let go. Hmm I give up lets see I have one of them zero recoil knockoff scope mounts in a weaver rail format,, will it fit my Hatsan 135 Vortex .177
 Yes it did and nicely to boot. Far enough back for the Hatsan  wood stock needed set back for eye relief. SWEET!
 4 shots and dialed in, shot reactive targets  after for added excitement 




 anyone else notice I put the mount on backwargs

Looked at the Air Force 50% off sale. The .25 Condor is out of stock now, but they still have the .22. I would have gone for the .25 for under $400 even though I usually only buy inexpensive things. But a Talon or Condor in .25 would be one of the few exceptions. Glad I missed out because next it would have been a compressor, and then....

 Going to flip the zero recoil mount to the proper direction

Opened the South roll up door on the Red Shed/shop and set up a paper target stand out at 20 - 25 yds. (I didn't range it) Then I got the Dragonfly M2 out of it's bag and noticed I had taken the scope off of it. I located a scope on a gun that I rarely use and mounted it on the M2. It took me around 7 or 8 shots to get it sighted in but by then the heat and humidity found their way into the shop and pumping the gun soon became an unpleasant experience. So I closed the roll up and turned the a/c on to cool the shop back down and retreated to my recliner and the a/c in the house until the shop comes back down to a more humanly tolerant level.
Maybe I'll opt for just opening the shooting window to the North range.

Yeah it is.. I can also go in the casting shed, turn on the a/c and crack the door open and shoot at some targets I have set up across the front of the house.

Back at it again today
 I spun the scope around the right way, this time I had constant supervision.



 I also did some shooting with the .22 K98 , next gun to get a recoil mount.

Shot a couple 15 rnd Maple mags of my cast 19gr pellets out of the Red Shed window to the North range targets with the NoDoze. That gun is so satisfying.

I punched some holes at a 10m target.
The scope is ok for pinking, but not for competition, that's for sure.
I'll have to start thinking about getting a scope for Dora.

Topped the DoDoze off with big red and shot another 15 rnd mag with it. I like to cycle through the compressors from time to time just to keep them active and blow the dust off.

 I topped off my SCUBA tanks while the humidity was down, my other CF bottles could use a boost too, I might get there tonight yet. Other than that I played with my pumpers and rubbed them with Kroil  and a few drops of my secret sauce  AKA the tube of Pell gun Oil that was handy where it happened 

 PS I was eyeing my B-Notos all day thinking how much I miss it and have been using the new flings in my arsenal mostly. I may spend the evening with her

My Notos likes the 19gr casts as well but still shoots the 18gr Apollo better and 18gr JSBs best.  An afternoon of shooting your own casts through something as accurate as the Notos sure is fun :-)  Enjoy sir

Mine shoots everything from the 14.3 CPHP to all my cast weights and most weights in between. All that is needed is a slight elevation turret adjustment.

    Scoped a crosman 101 with an old crosman 4x15…waiting on a larger OEM peep..seems sacrilegious to scope one of these old guns….but money @ 30 yards …

Today I shot "The Clyde"...

used my .177 Buccaneer and Hydra... pinpoint at 30 yards... seems they in those rifles are better than the very similar JSB monsters..

then it was back to finishing the bathroom and utility room remodel/rebuild... 100 year old house... has perimeter foundation but in 100 years no one had dug out the dirt for the about 12x20 crawlspace below bathroom and utility room...got er done... wore this 62 year-old body(with recent stent) out a bit...

but yep glad I decided to try  Barra The Clyde 13g... ordered a couple more tins... also ordered some more RWS Ultra 9.7 grain... realy thin skirts but have a couple rifles that really like them...

I've had a Caldwell Steady Rest for some time now and just never really cared for it. It just seemed too long. I basically have just been using it to put guns on while I filled them. I was looking at it today and had an idea. I took the 12" center section off and found a framing gusset that I shaped with a ball peen hammer and drilled the 4 mounting holes. It shortened the rest by 9". It's really comfortable now and I plan on using it alot.

Decided to repurpose Bacon Snaps for target practice.  They make a nice explosion; on par with a firecracker.  Nice challenge from 25 yards.

I was wondering where Bonnie was Then I figured it out Gamo has a similar pellet called the Hammer, my Hatsan ATP 2 Tactical likes them.
