I replaced the valve, valve spring and valve body O-ring on Eve.
It kept loosing air after cocking. In the time it took to aim it would drop
pressure enough to drop the pellet 2" at 10m.
It seems to be all right now.

I had a small issue with the Urban, okay it was a wide right issue. It was shooting 6" to the right, no wonder I didn't make pest contact. This morning I was so frustrated with it that I shot 3 mags through it at the pest and just about chop the branch in two instead of hitting the pest. Oh it gets better, the dog has just about clawed the tree in half waiting for me to drop the pest. So after emptying the gun of air and ammo I put a target out and filled up the gun. A few shots later it was back to being the one hole wonder that it is. I even went back to see if I could nail the pest, it had bailed already. The branch looked like a shotgun had gone off on it. That pest won't be back in that tree for a day or 2.  Hopefully it will stay out of my pear tree as well.

Disassembled the GX-CS1 again and cleaned everything, saw no signs of water.  Replaced dusty grease areas with Valvoline Synthetic Grease.  Reassembled, sounded like she was alive, but never added pressure then gave up the ghost again.  Looked in my check ledger and found the CS1 lasted exactly 1 year at $233.10 so at $4.58/week it was worth the investment.  It made several trips to the LGR and in it's defense died after I started asking it to fill ThikGirl to 4,000+psi.Those fills took a long time and went to over 60C versus about 45C and a little longer than the time to fill a CARM mag to fill the Notos to 3500.  I'm guessing I could have got another year of just 3500psi fills.  For the convenience of a portable 12voltable sealed system I am sacrificing water cooling protection.

While the compressor is down, I disassembled and repaired two CooKu Clocks so I now have 2 working CARMS for the Notos and 2 working Challenger mags.

Confirmed I am too overweight and out of shape to enjoy hand-pumping....might get some time in with the scope busting jumper until I resolve the compressor situation.  If you believe you know how to work on the GX-CS1 it's yours for the cost of shipping from 30189.

We have too many Red Tail hawks around here. I know they are protected but I think they need thinning out.

We go through through periods when it feels like too many raptors are around, and others when both jackrabbits and cottontails are getting a bit too abundant.

And then the balance self-corrects.

Yesterday I told my husband it’s weird how scarce the Red Tailed Hawks have suddenly become. He had noticed the same thing but saw an adult hawk flying back and forth to what was probably a nest. The ravens always become secretive when they have nests.

Bill I seen a hawk swoop down and take another bird one day at lunch. Very efficient animal. Charles I went with the gsx 4 because of the high fill max knowing well 300 bar is my max pressure I fill to. I had the morning to myself so I fiddled around in the gun room. Messed with some ammo and the m357 some more. Cleaned the barrel on it and lubed the barrel o ring.

 I went into work to chase the pigins out of the shop, found they had been let out not long before I finally got there.
OK time to do some shooting was kind of windy and hot in the open, decided to take a drive in the woods and see if I could find a place to shoot a 30 yard target, one problem I can not find the targets, well I have a couple NUAH targets, some cardboard, hmm I need tape, ah first aid kit  Now to attach it to a tree, do not worry I will cut that tree down soon anyhow.
 Lets start out at 50 and see what's up  Standing with Trigger Stick bipod, 50ish yards, tells me I must have a 75ish yard far zero, need to dial that in a bit better on a bench.



 OK that went well lets try 100 off the sticks I saw the first go high, then held on the bull with the crosshairs. There was very little wind in the woods and the blood sucking vampires were few and far between T/G 
 I forgot my bags, now I look could of used the hot-seat as a rest 

 Subtract the holes in the yellow  Wow 2nd look I guess I got lucky a few times. LOL

Now all three 853s have the exact LOP.

I fondled several air rifles and dreamed about plinking. It’s just too hot to sit outside and shoot right now.  Making a list of stuff I need from Crosman. I keep thinking of things I want. Then the list gets impractically long so I go through it and eliminate the unnecessary items.  Then I remember something I really need and add it to the  list.  Back to square one.

Tore down the GX Pump CS1.  All electric motors are working but the piston is not moving...appears the "clutch" is disengaged....fiddling with tight quarters inside the box.  Getting more intrigued with the Yong Heng and taking a break to troll GTA

well sold three of my air rifles...is  first time have sold an air rifle have given away or traded... 200$ each for my Icons ...liked them enough to put  Remmy  513 stocks on two of them... but since there will be no parts support...  back to Crosman... had to send lead with them a while longer before  going with the recall... will miss them some...

bummer but it covers what have into them... stocks cost 20 & 40 bucks...had fun filling and modding them..

in truth  still have 11 other pcp's and a small fleet of pumpers that keep me happy..

I got out the m25 and removed the Utg over bore bipod attachment and then switched out the rear scope cap because the one that was on it wouldn't stay shut. Then I got out the Dremel and worked on opening the stock up by the trigger guard. The way it comes from the factory it really crowds the second finger. I figured if I take too much out I can always get something to build it back up and redo. It's still a little tight but much better. Then I mounted the Utg bipod attachment to my m357 which will work perfectly in conjunction with the fixed sights I have on that rifle.
