Disassembled the AEA 30 Challenger to find a folded regulator o-ring in the valve again.
Surfed some sites for possible replacement o-rings.
Took the air gauge off and can see the delrin ring is crushed....might be able to replace the delrin only....

Swapped out the 1-4 alpha to a 1-6 on the 357 yesterday.

 Mounted a blue laser on  my Jet1 , then saw I have a large supply of .25 Eugen domed pellets so I loaded up the new 10 shot mag and proceeded to sight the laser and holographic dot sight in for 10m with them.

Killed a Red Wasp with a Dry fire from the Uragan .25, close up air blast does the trick every time

Took out a few air pistols for some lenient comparison shooting. Also tested a "new to me" pellet, the Chinese-made .177 Winchester wadcutters.

Quick summaries:

The Diana LP-8 Magnum: Too big to hold comfortably. Not a "bad" trigger per se, but creepy and gritty by Diana standards. Difficult to shoot accurately because of its length. Fiber-optic sights make this expensive gun feel cheap. Fun factor - 6.5.

Norica Model 83: Difficult to sight in, but okay for plinking. Heavy trigger with some creep. Good sights. Annoying automatic safety on right side of frame. Fun Factor - 6.5.

Chinese "Westlake" air pistol in .22 caliber: Cheap, but will knock beverage cans around if you get close enough. Heavy trigger. No safety (thankfully). Fun factor: 5.5.

Crosman 2240: I normally do not like CO2 airguns, but this is a notable exception. Consistent power from a single CO2 cylinder, even loading and firing quickly, easy to shoot fairly accurately, decent trigger and good iron sights. Fun factor - 8.5

Chinese-made .177 Winchester wadcutters: Seemingly high fluctuation in pellet size. Some were too large, some were fine. Maybe okay for plinking, but I wouldn't trust them for paper targets.

Shot silhouette targets with the .22 BSA Meteor Evo from Krale using the stock fiber optic sights, which do seem a little more precise than other fiber optic sights that I've experienced. The action is silky smooth, and has been since day one, but the trigger seems to need more and more travel as the gun breaks in, even though it is smooth as greased butter. I've adjusted the trigger to the shortest travel length possible with the provided screw, but it's still pretty long. I've decided not to attempt using a different screw, and am just accepting the fact that the trigger travel is a bit more than I would consider to be "first class." I will say that even with the less-than-Rekord trigger and the fiber optic sights, this air rifle is a tack driver. It is very light and easy to handle, while still putting out "magnum air-rifle" power levels. The QC is extremely high for an airgun of its price. I believe that is made in Spain, which makes sense, since it is a highly-evolved version of the Gamo 440 Hunter design that Crosman uses for their air rifles. Unfortunately, it seems that if you're in the States and want one, Krale in the Netherlands is your only option, so shipping will be a little costlier than if you purchased from an American distributor. That's how I acquired mine, and I have no regrets.

Update: I just searched Krale's website for the Meteor Evo, and don't see it there anymore.

I started a scope shuffle, to get some decent glass on my Taipan Veteran. Hopefully this weekend i can run some pellets through it, get some crony numbers and figure out my hold over out to 80ish yards.

I replaced the regulator on my Crown 25 today. I fished for that valve body o ring for an hour but was successful. I'm glad that I got upgraded parts in the 9121 reg replacement kit. My old regulator had a poly piston and the new one is brass. Everything is working well and holding steady regulator pressure. I will run a string over the crony tomorrow.

Learned that an Athlon Talos 3-12 x 40 side parallax won’t work with a Sportsmatch one piece adjustable mount. Little piece under the side turret that looks like a chisel detent. Hits the mount and won’t let you rotate the scope to level.

Having received some drill bushings, I completed drill jigs for
making a couple of 880 parts that heretofor I had laid out by hand, one-at-a-time.

Now I can quickly,easily and repeatedly mage thise parts....I just hope they are correct, or I
will quickly, easily and repeatedlt make scrap.

Learned that an Athlon Talos 3-12 x 40 side parallax won’t work with a Sportsmatch one piece adjustable mount. Little piece under the side turret that looks like a chisel detent. Hits the mount and won’t let you rotate the scope to level.

Boker 4-blade Congress pattern. This from a limited run they did some years back where they did 6 traditional patterns and did some in bone, mother of pearl, and stag. The Boker Solingen knives are top notch. Just checked and Mike had no Boker on his site. A.G. Russell maybe? Seems like I saw a Congress there not long ago. You want the Solingen knives, or the Arbolito also for fixed blade. I stay away from the Magnum and Plus lines.

Cleaned and organized the gun room. Got out the 22 armada and messed around with it. Put the Utg overbore bipod on it and set up a couple different sheets of gun vinyl behind it to get a closer idea of which one I'm going to go with. Hopefully I get motivated soon. I have for four guns waiting around making me feel guilty lol! Then I finished installing a 1-4 lpvo on my pp750. Now it's in line with a few others for actual sight in time.

 Took a $20 dollar 4x32 scope off the XS60C, and put on a 3-9x32 Svbony scope on it, put the 4x on a Daisy 880 garage gun. After both were sighted in I looked over at my dusty neglected Marauder .177 slug shooter, dusted it off and confirmed zero with 18.5 gr NSA slugs for now, ready for some shooting when the opportunity happens.
