I get that "Mrod" is the Benjamin Marauder, and "Prod" seems to be the pistol Marauder, but what is "SynRod"? (I didn't want to clutter the forum with a new topic just for this.)
tons of abbreviations, slang and acronyms https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=51866.0
I have added a ldc it is quiet even at 50 ftlbs
First of all, good luck with your new rifle.I also have a 25 synrod. I have read every post on the dark side with Marauder in the title. What I have learned is the very few people regulate 25s. Marauders have 215 cc air tube. A regulated gun requires a small space for the regulated air to feed the valve. This is called the plenum. If it is too small then the air pressure will drop when the valve is open, resulting in a weak shot. So the regulator, the plenum and the valve use space in the air reservoir. While this does make the velocity consistent, it also reduces shot count because it reduces air volume in the reservoir. Your rifle may work well at 30 fpe. I will be interested to know how this works for you.

Search for Brian's Low Power Tune (BLT) on MarauderAirRifle.com. It gets you 25-30 shot at 800ish fps on a 2500 psi fill, great if you are hand pumping and really quiet. When I first got mine I set it up this way and had no problem dropping starlings at 65 yards. If you would like to try it I will look for my notes for the settings I used which would get you in the neighborhood. Also with the .25, you'll find the impact is much louder than the report from the gun.
