Over the years I have had Crosman bend over backwards to make me happy . Seems that is no longer the case ; their telling me I have to send my .177 pistol to a local repair center to get it fixed . A part ( I would call a wrist pin ) fell out of the gun and now it won't cock . No where on their schematic does it show this piece .
But whats up with the one year limited warrentee ? Since when can't I send them a gun for repairs ??
It will be a cold day in *(&^ before I ever buy another Crosman product . I am 61 years old and have shipped them several guns b4 and have always been made a happy camper .
Crosman has a 5 year warrentee on almost all their guns but this one ...hummm... wonder why ; could it be that this pistol is a P.O.S ?

If it's a springer...ect then they don't actually make the thing, and this could be why.

Btw why swear off the company based on one bad experience after so many good ones .

Disappointing to hear. I've never had an issue with the parts department. Besides just ordering a gun, I've never dealt with any other department such as service.
I also prefer to order parts and repair my own guns. Then again, I've never received a new one that needed repairs.

it's the .177 ca. Nitro , Model BBP77, i PAID A WHOLE 67$ FOR IT !
All I did was unscrew the 4 screws that hold the stock on , wiped down the innards with an oily cloth and found this "pin" on my lap .
I could not for the life of me figure out where it fell out from -but when I put the stock back on -it wouldn't cock . The linkage arm hits on the plastic stock .... with stock off, it go's thru cocking motion but don't compress the piston .
I went to Crosman Web site and studied the schematic thoroughly and found no such "pin".

It has to be a guide for the linkage. I can't get to the diagram from work. They have me blocked from such sites. I'll look when I get home.

It would likely cost you 60% of that for any repair by the time you paid shipping. I can see why Crosman does not bother repairing them when they sell for so little.

Did you check part number 11 to be sure it's in place?
That's the staying roller head in the diagram.

Part # 11 is the closest looking to the "pin" in question - but it's firmly in place on the gun .

Look down into the grip frame,and see if there's a place for it to ride in there...

Looking at the EVP, part 22 the long lever, shows a hole at the mid point. See if the pin fits there. It's possible the pin has a camming action to engage the piston.
