LOL...I guess being a newly minted grandpa makes me feel like an old codger. In reading the above post Kinetic45 made an honest error, recognized it, and got away with it. That same set of circumstances has applied to any of us 100's of times from cars to guns to spouses. The way I know its 2018 is that instead of letting guys know your experience so they don't make the same mistake, we have to be more concerned about some jackwagon trying to duplicate it. Maybe I'mtoo cynical, but protect those with common sense and let Darwinism take care of the others.

I have a Texan .308. I had considered using bullet lubes and if I asked 10 different guys I got 10 different answers about that topic. Thanks for posting because I could have easily done the same thing...now or in the future.

I know that good old darwin takes care, but that kind of happening does get a shooting hobby some not wanted publicity.
Guns and bad press, I can see the headlines, "Father of two blown to bits, by an airbomb!" These weapons of mass destruction will be banned!

Cynical right, but I do not want to see anyone blown up by any airgun.
