I bought a .22 xs60c, or as the guys across the pond call it, the rabbit destroyer. Mike's tuning it for 650fps using 14.88 ftt's. All the reports I've seen from our friends across the pond are very good. I already have a replacement bulk fill drop block for a Co2 or a ninja bottle for it. It's gonna be epic. Lol

Well I can vouch for the fact that Mrodair indeed is still shipping products they have in stock Promptly, I just got notification from UPS My Choice for the Master Blaster I ordered late Friday afternoon, it's scheduled to be here Wednesday, now that's a quick shipment indeed.  I almost ordered another PP700SA instead but even though the Master Blaster is co2 it's pretty much a lego gun in the SPA world, it comes with everything to make either the Carbine or the pistol version.  I seen where I think Diana is going to be selling the carbine version watching the shot show youtube videos.  Avator bought one of these when Mike first had them available and I always thought they were really cool even for being a CO2

  Very tempting. That's a lot of goodies for 150 bucks. 

I purchased one from Mike when he first got them in last year and I think that it was a no brainer. It is a great light weight, well made and very accurate pistol/carbine for indoors and summer fun.

You'll enjoy that Wayne. I swapped the breech, barrel and LDC onto my .177 Varmint turning into a .22. The LDC works really well. Much better than the stock muzzle break on the Varmint. The Master Blaster went back together in .177 to shoot along side our plinkster.
What will I do if it breaks down after a couple months? Same thing I'd do with a GAMO that I can't get parts for I reckon. Oh wait..... I can get parts from SPA. Just not barrels and stocks. But, I still can't get parts for my GAMOs.

You guys know for every good legit question he gets I bet he gets 10 or so bonehead questions.  I know that isn't anyway to run a business but still though.

Also ya gotta admit folks will "tire kick" your product all day long and they never intend to buy from you anyways.  Mostly cause they think they can save a buck or two buying from someone else.  Some folks are good at owning and running a business, and some folks aren't.

I do think it would be good if he came on the forums like this one, and made statements about his intentions, AND whether or not he's interested in dealing with all the "tire kickers" that come along.  At least we would all know up front who and what you are dealing with.

Maybe he's just burned out on dealing with all this mess and air-gunners in general.  He may not be returning phone calls or emails but it does appear he's still around and willing to ship once an order is placed.  Basically money talks and BS walks. 

For me though the MRODAIR webpage is in serious need of a complete redesign, cause that site just not worthy to navigate.

I don't think it's a dumb question to ask 2 months after ordering where is my order.  I was kicking the tires, with small order to see if it would work before sending this 🤡 several hundred dollars, because I want a P15 .25, but just didn't trust them enough to commit that much money to a company with Shady Customer Service.
His loss but really it's mine because I'm still without my .25, but as long as people keep sending him orders and excepting his bs, which by the way I really can't understand, but more power to them.

No I don't think your questions about your order was dumb, not at all.  I'm just saying that sometimes the legit questions get lumped in with all of the not so legit questions.  It's not right I know, but ya gotta know it happens.  Especially when folks are getting burned out.  It's not an excuse I know, but it happens.  I have no idea what Mrodair's problems are, but it does sound like he needs to @$%^ or get off the pot. 

I just went and did some digging, and it appears the Mike hasn't been around here since mid Nov.  Maybe he's just lurking and not logging in.  Who knows!  I'd like to order some stuff as well and it looks like I'll need to start looking elsewhere.

If JSA does decide to sell SPA it might be quite an expense to order just a couple of models let alone all the models, I'm thinking the minimum orders for a retailer might be up there in numbers.  If they do decided to try it posting a poll in the forum might be a good option to figure out exactly what they might want to start out with.  I hope they have some luck with the endeavor.

My experience with him matches most everyone else’s with a bad taste in their mouth. He was prompt and courteous to answer my tire kicking questions before i threw down my hard earned money. I placed my order and waited 2 days for a tracking number that i was promised. I wasn’t a member here yet or i would have known not to expect it even though he promised i would receive one. After 2 days without the tracking i wrote to the same email he was so fast to respond to before i paid for my order and got nothing back. I thought maybe he was busy and remained patient. Even thought maybe the email didn’t get to him since he was so fast to respond to the emails asking about buying a rifle. I sent another email and waited. Started to get a little upset that the promises made didn’t happen. A couple more days and the rifle showed up at my doorstep. Problem was we were out of town and had no idea it was coming while we were gone or I would’ve made arrangements to keep it from camping on my front porch for 4 days. Fortunately it only rained for 2 of those days. I was shocked to see the soaked and battered box on the front porch when we got home. Luckily I don’t live in a high crime area or the box wouldn’t have been there at all and I would have had no idea that it had been stolen. One of the reasons I asked specifically about tracking numbers. The rifle had terrible accuracy out of the box and i was still new to pcp so i was afraid to open it up and try to correct it. Called and emailed for weeks until finally one night around 8 pm he answered the phone. I was so shocked that someone answered i forgot what i had intended to say. It quickly came back to me when he started blaming the lies he told me on everyone (including me) except himself. I told him what i thought about being deceived and lied to and that i would never return to his business. He tried to convince me it wasn’t his fault but i had found the forums by the time i contacted him and said it was quite the coincidence that everyone else says the same as me but somehow in my situation it wasn’t his fault. Laughable at best. It was like asking an 8 year old if they did something wrong. I could picture him looking at the ground with hands in his pockets and saying “wasn’t me”. As a business owner myself i understand customer service and satisfaction. Only difference with me is I live in the same town as my customers and have to look them in the eye at the grocery store or gas station on a daily basis. Maybe it’s easier to lie through your teeth when you don’t have to look at the person your are lying to. Either way I’m surprised he has lasted this long and can only think it’s because a lot of his business comes from people like me that were clueless of the amazing resources we have here on the GTA. I truly wish i had found the forum before making that purchase. I did finally get the rifle shooting well and use it now as a loaner for any non air gunner to use to hunt with or plink with if I’m afraid they will damage something nice i own. If they don’t damage it and seem interested in the hobby they can pick from a larger selection the next time they ask. Alls well that ends well i suppose but i wont make the same mistake twice. Hoping Travis or someone can take over. I’m positive they can offer a much higher satisfaction rate. Sorry for the rant but when I see people making excuses for someone i had a bad experience with i feel obligated to share my side so i know i did my part in protecting someone from the same experience. On a side note i think the fun shoot is fairly close to his shop and think we should stop by and tell him in person how his business practices are hurting us as a community and pushing new air gunners away from the hobby if the first experience they have is with him. I would call and tell him but I don’t have a month of my time to give.

Yeah that sounds like a sucky experience for sure.  I suppose I was very lucky.

I placed my order, and got the tracking after a day to my inbox.  Then the package arrived on time and was in perfect condition.  The gun shoots amazingly well, and it is super accurate.  I have not had to modify for adjust anything.  I've filled the gun to 2000 psi and let is sit for weeks to months and it still is spot on where I left it.

Mike always answered my calls and emails, even after the sale.  But of course this was all back in June 2015.  I suppose a lot has changed since then.  Maybe this just isn't the same Mrodair I dealt with back then.  But because of my past experience with them, it makes it hard to just write them off without the benefit of the doubt.  Of course I know it's easy to do that if you've been burned from the outset.

i truly wish that was my experience. the condition of the box wasn’t his fault but it sitting on my porch while i was out of town was. seems that he tried in the earlier days but flat doesn’t care now. i take so much pride in everything i do i guess it’s hard for me to understand his approach. he could’ve been the most popular retailer with a little effort but obviously not what he wanted. the rifle itself wasn’t terrible once i got the velocity under control and accuracy is good enough to hunt with.

I wouldn’t have expected as much as i did if he hadn’t told me what to expect. the fact he told me what i wanted to hear tells me he knows what the right way is but chooses not to do it. his loss.

I don’t want or mean to turn this into an argument between us or anyone else so please don’t think I’m doubting you or saying anything negative towards you. I’m just sharing my experience and opinion with those that may wonder. I’m glad everything worked in your favor. enjoy your rifles mister fun!

About the only thing good I can say about Mrodair is that at least he didn't go gluing the muzzle brake on.

This^^^^ is the thing, IMO.

He's clearly a one man band, where time is indeed money. The airgun thing appears to be a sideline for him.

Is that a legitimate excuse for lousy after-the-sale communication/service? Nope. If I were in his shoes I'd add a disclaimer, something like...

"MrodAir is me, Mike. I've invested much time and effort to import previously unavailable airguns to the US market and I supply them at reasonable prices. If you order an item that I have in stock, it will be shipped promptly (in many cases, for free).

I do not have resources available to service what I sell. However - unlike some manufacturers - most parts for the airguns I supply are available directly from the factory at low cost. Repairs can be accomplished by anyone competent to work on similar airguns. If you enjoy doing your own repairs/customization, you'll find that SPA products are solid, cost-effective and fun airguns to work with."

Wouldn't something like the above suffice?

Bill my plans for this bunch of nice parts might be a couple different choices like you opted.  When I seen that Diana Bandit on the shot show video I was thinking if I can get a parts list for the model number of the Bandit I could put something like this together with this kit gun.  I'll probably soon be taking my Varmint apart to compare all the parts to make a decision on what parts I want to order from Julie@SPA.  I STILL need to order a couple magazines from her for my Dominator because there's two different occasions that I've almost lost the one that I've got.
