For what it is worth, Air Venturi is coming out with a multi pump this year that looks a lot like the SPA/Artemis gun. Steve at AEAC on YouTube did the video. Sorry guys, no link. Around $180 pricepoint. Having said that, My experience with Mrod Air has been all good.

Keep in mind... you will still need to have FFL for SPA to ship barrels and stocks separately to you. Julie told me there is a space on the shipping documents that needs that info. And again... aside from the issues others have posted... I have received everything I've paid for from MRodAir in a timely manor. Same as some other vendors. If the guy stepped up communication he would be miles ahead of the game. I can deal with complications with a transaction if I am kept in the loop. I cannot deal with being ignored or misled. I'm the one I see in the mirror every morning. I'm the one I need to live with. If I don't like me, I'm sure you won't.

I'm under the impression you need to buy an entire shipping container of guns. Please share info if you find out otherwise. Perhaps several dealers on here can combine resources if they are all willing, and if they live close enough to each other to avoid having to pay for additional shipping to distribute. Julie at SPA also sounded a bit gun shy about selling to just anybody after the Mrodair experience, but I don't know if that is truly an issue with her. I doubt they would be that worried about the reputation of their U.S. dealers. I'd think money talks loudest.

As an end-user customer, I hope SPA does not sign any exclusive distributor agreement. I'd love to see these guns available from a variety of U.S. sources. Of course I'm sure a distributor would like an exclusivity agreement.

That's odd, I have four barrels on the bench that a Chinese manufacturer sent me... It would be pretty funny when the BATF checked our books and saw that we never took in a single firearm.

Matt I was looking on their website and I ended up finding out the minimum orders for the different guns, I don't recall seeing about an FFL license but I know the Chinese consider the barrels as a firearm part, stocks won't be shipped because of the chance of them breaking and I remember reading a thread about someone was trying to get Julie to ship a stock even if it did come broken, didn't see any more about it.

If that’s true Wayne and I don’t doubt it then what I would suggest to Jacob the owner of Jsar is to order extra guns to break into extra parts for replacement parts.

I hope in the end this works out as I would love to have a .25 that you've gone through + tuned added JSA & ART parts. I just couldn't see sending an order for a full gun from a place that had documented customer service issues, which was why I tested them with a simple parts order, to which they failed.

AustinB ordered three guns worth of parts from Julie and put all three together for $260 each(SPA M16A bottled) with polygonal LW barrels. He said the parts are very inexpensive but will need smithing for certain parts.

I'm excited for a possible new vendor because I am looking hard at a m-16/Dominator but am turned off of mrodair after all these posts...still might do it if there is no other options though

That's what I am leaning towards, I did notice AOA has 45 shots per fill on their website for .22 when dominator owners seem to be getting closer to 60.

Personally I would order one from Mrodair myself, every gun they've had in stock at the time that I've ordered one there was here in less than a week. With Mrodair it's $499 shipped plus you get the extra clip with it.
