On a morning bicycle ride recently, I spotted seven deer while riding past a field of cotton. [There is one more off-camera to the right.] I often see deer when bicycle riding, and have to be careful that they don't run into me when they decide to cross the road.
I saw a light colored sparrow (Leucistic) in the back yard today. There was one last year as well but this new one was acting like a fledgling (begging for food from a normal parent) so the gene pool must have been passed on. Or we are a little too close to the nuclear plant..... We used to have a crow flying around with some white feathers so maybe it is the nuclear plant.
