Rick,TKO will make a full barrel shroud for it. Qouted me between $130-150. But you'll need to send the gun in. If it were me I would open up the moderator insert first.

Scott, it just slides off over the muzzle. It was tight then just let go.

So I picked up a new Chronograph today. Initial testing set at current setting is giving me around 800 fps with JSB Diabolo 18.13gr. I did notice that at a 2900psi/200 bar fill that I lose approximately 2 fps per shot. After 24 shots my pressure drops from 2900 psi down to around 2000 psi. Is this typical? If so I may adjust power down to 750fps and hope for another 8 shots per fill.

Update on Chrony testing.....
I have determined the air gauge on my Sentry is off by 200 psi. I tested it based on the manometer on my handpump and 2 other pcp rifles having matching numbers when filled to max psi. So now with a 3100psi fill on the Sentry's manometer I have yielded 24 useable shots from 815fps down to 789 fps down to 2200psi. I'm happy with that. But I may tinker a bit more and see if I can squeeze out a few more usable shots.

Sorry I'm late on this reply. I sold the Sentry a while back but it was a sweet little shooter for sure! Here is what I remember ordering (I had to dig through my notes) from Crosman for the shroud build from parts from an NP2.

all parts from an NP2 breakbarrel: (you need to call them over the phone)

NP214-009 (shroud cone)
E357-008 (o-rings X2)
NP214-008 (Trail shroud)
NP214-001 (Trail baffle)

The way I attached the shroud cone to the Sentry's barrel was using masking tape to build up and make a snug fit, I then used a bit of loctite to secure it to the masking tape. I then had my brother print me some 3d barrel bushings (or you can use masking tape again here to build up for the shroud to slide over) and give it rigidy and strength... Then put the o-rings on the baffle assembly (one on each side) and slide the baffle assembly into the shroud, it should sit right against the barrel, it's a perfect fit. The air cylinder band I made from 2" pvc and used a heat gun to shape it to form and then painted it with the same spray I used for the stock. Let me see if I can find the thread of this shroud...

The shroud works quite well really. I modified it a bit by drilling and tapping the plastic support spacers for set screws. Tested on an old Radio shack sound meter the report is 86 decibels at my ear and 73 decibels 15 feet from the barrel.

I do have one question though. Where did you have the power adjuster set? The fellow you sold it to originally claimed he was averaging 840-860 fps. The best i have gotten is 815 fps. But I have not adjusted the power adjuster. I did notice what looks like a scribe mark near the power indicator I am assuming it was a witness mark. Thanks for any input you may have.

I don't really remember where the power adjuster was set to. I did all my tweaking while using the chrony as I adjusted the hammer spring , and if I remember correctly, the adjustment is backwards on the sentry, from what I remember reading in the manual. So that meant counter-clockwise increased power. Weird setup for sure. I may be wrong but I slightly remember the manual stating that. I settled on 830-850-830 for my tune over 3 mags with 18gr JSB.

You are correct. The adjuster has reverse threads. So far I am happy with the power. 815 down to 789 for 24 shots. I may do a little more tweaking in the future, but for now 26 ftp is plenty for shots out to 50 or so yards on groundhogs and crows.

I took many, many ground squirrels with that little rifle out to 75 yards! I'm sure you'll tweak it to your liking. Enjoy it!

Average velocity 820 fps. W/ 18.13gr. JSB Diabolos. I think I'm gonna leave it right there.

My buddy KManca1 has a sentry he's worked on. Nice shooter and a really neat looking gun. My only critique is the weight. It is pretty heavy IMO. But I'm a prior Hatsan owner, so I don't mind the weight that much and it is my only issue with the gun. Kmanca did clean it up, polish his bits and mod it a bit, though, so I'm sure it's not a straight out of the box rifle...
