As far as the groups go my Urban will group like that once the pressure drops below 1500psi but between 1.750-2.750 it will shame rifles that cost four times as much.Like Marc said the mag stop can be adjusted and that only leaves you with the stuck gauge to replace. If it was mine and i coudn't exchange with Walmart i would buy a new gauge and replace it myself, they are cheap.I woudn't even bother shipping it to Gamo both ways then wait for them to repair it.

I'm going to try the magazine adjustment later today and see if that fixes that problem. According to Gamo's webpage I'd have to pay shipping both way, so if Walmart isn't willing to send a replacement, I will most likely do the repairs myself. With only 35 pellets down the barrel, I can only hope accuracy will improve. Plus, those 35 were CPHP's, I haven't tried anything else in it yet. Thanks for all the help!

Thanks for all the help!My second one had an issue out of the box with the rifle (the box itself was banged up and missing the fill probe pack as well). I went online to walmart printed a one page bar code return and took it back to the local store. About five days for the money return on the card. To keep things simple just ordered a separate rifle rather than any kind of exchange deal. Far simpler than the Pyramyd screw up on my April Gauntlet order... They sent the wrong caliber, had to send it back before they sent a correct rifle on the way overdue order to begin with. Initial site in went well and did the usual QB trigger changes so hope to stretch it out today and see what it does. Since its already a bit of a whale in size that aftermarket extended tank from Joe looks like a worthwhile extension.
The metal back stop for the mag well can be adjusted by loosening two screws on the top of the receiver and moving the back stop ever so slightly.
Are you referring to the 2 Allen head screws visible directly on top of the breech, just in front of the magazine well?
I just removed the scope, loosened those two screws a couple turns and tapped the magazine tray a couple times with the screwdriver handle, tightened the screws back good and tight, and wa-la it's working perfectly!
... H&N Sniper Magnums. These were all shot at 35 yards, sitting using a tripod rest.
... absolutely STACKS the H&N 21.2 grainers out to 35 yards.
I really want to like this Urban, but the accuracy is making it hard...Below are two pictures, the Top is two 10 shot groups shot with the Urban. The left target is with JSB Exact Jumbos, the right target is H&N Sniper Magnums. These were shot at 35 yards from a sitting position, using a tripod rest. The targets are 6".The bottom picture is the exact same two groups shot with my Gauntlet (The one flyer on the left target was me, not the rifle). Same pellets, same targets, same distance, same shooting position. For me, the Gauntlet is clearly the more accurate rifle, and the trigger is & shot count are far superior!Oh, and I think I have the gauge working, however, I don't know how accurate it is. I removed it, determine the threads are metric (go figure it's made in the uK) so i don't have a gauge I can swap out. So, I poked a needle into the hole in the back of the gauge, bounced it off the carpet a couple times and reinstalled it. Now it's moving, but now it points at 2000 psi until pressure drops below that and then it starts move down the scale! I'll be calling Walmart tomorrow and see if they will exchange it. If they do, I'll give the Urban another chance...
... doing a barrel recrown
Here's mine at 35 yds, no wind.2800 to 1100 psi1.3" CPDUM 14.3 gr2.3" JSB Jumbo Hvy 18.1 gr2.4" GTO 11.75 grAlso from a rest, seated on a stool.Honestly, I think yours is shooting better than mine. I look forward to how your exchange works out!
