That stock looks great Scott! I love that forest camo laminate and have been contemplating getting one for my Marauder. After a lengthy conversation with Bill, I put the complete Magnum Air Power trigger group in my Maximus and it made a huge difference. He said these triggers were tricky to adjust and the complete trigger groups come complete and adjusted, just drop them in. He didn't lie! LOL!I tether mine to a .5L tank set to 1800 psi when bench shooting. I also have a power adjuster installed, but have not really taken the time to tune it yet. I need to pull it back out and do some tuning over the chrony and see what I can get out of it! I also have the upgraded valve screws, but more for peace of mind, I don't fill it over 2000 psi. I did change the hammer spring to the .45 Magnum Hammer Spring also. I have not done anything to the valve or port yet, however, I do have the lighter valve spring, but only because I had a senior moment while order what I thought were lighter trigger springs! I probably should give it a try and see if it makes a difference...
Does anyone know the wire size of the torsion spring in the stock trigger. I might try to order a lighter spring or get some piano wire and bent a new one. That heavy torsion spring is the main draw back to the stock trigger. Also Paul did you notice that the gun cocked easier with the .045 magnum spring in it.

Drew, no need for a new spring. Just bend the top leg of the spring down about five degrees.

Ran some chronic numbers today, JSB 15.89: average 838.2 fps/24.8 fpe; JSB 18.13: 797.8 fps/25.63 fpe; and CPDM 14.3: 863.28 fps/23.67 fpe. This was tethered to my .5L tank that's regulated to 1800 psi.
Drew, those numbers look to be a nice string.Pretty decent curve, do you happen to know what pressures?I shot mine Friday, the trigger feels much better now but I may need to loosen the second screw a bit as it seems a little slow. I think the sear may be dragging on the hammer because from 2000 down to about 1800 I could SEE the pellet fly and I usually can not do that at 700fps or more. But I did have the scope set to 12x so without a chrony it is only speculation. After about 35-40 shots I moved out to Pop cans at 35 yards, nice to be able to choose "where" on the can you hit. Speaking of scopes, I may change mine around again. With the new LOP I had to be too far back to get a good eye relief.Hope I can get it with the little forward adjustment I have left. No big deal either way, I still have some of the Krugers from the 4 scope bundle I can use.
What mod did you do that makes u think the hammer is dragging.. I just finished two of the three screw mods to my trigger. I did the trigger stop screw and the one the comes up from the bottom that adjusts how much the shear engages the hammer
In case someone is not aware of the three screws Drew and I are talking about, here is the screw mod with all 3.The rear two holes are already there, the forward "Sear Engagement Adjustment" needs to be drilled.
