My Airmax Dominator - 44 shot string.

Well as some of you probably already know I  had to do some tinkering with this gun right out of the box to get it right.  All in all I'm really liking the gun even though there was some bad assembly from the factory in the trigger mecha.  The lever on mine right now is very smooth after close to 100 shots.  I think this gun is going to be good for medium sized game up to 50 yards after I eventually turn the regulator up.

All in all I feel as though I bought a winner, time will tell for sure.  Basically these guns are fresh on the market anyway here in the U.S. and I haven't really seen anything about them on youtube as far as anyone shooting one.  Well hopefully by this weekend I'll be out in the woods with it, my scope rings and more pellets will be here Friday for a possible maiden voyage on Saturday

Thanks Dillon I think I got a winner even though there's probably a lot of people that wouldn't feel the same.   After all it is an early one, I'm sure there's going to be some changes in the next several months on them.

Looking good so far, Wayne.  I'd be tickled pink with that performance, especially with so few pellets down the craw.  Are those JSB 18s the only thing you've stuffed in the breech yet?  Or are more flavors gonna be sampled?

Have you done a full fill yet? I can see SPA used a pressure gauge with green zones for a lower fill pressure. With a full 250bar fill, the gauge will be in the middle of the red....

I haven't been able to do a full fill with it yet, my tank don't have enough air right now, I'll get one of my tanks filled this afternoon probably.  Actually I see that now that the top of the green on the guage is 220bar and yest the 250bar point is where it's good for.  Wow I will be able to get a lot of shots from this gun, wwwwaaaaaayyyyy more then I really need for hunting

I was going through some airgun stuff last night and ran across a scope that I completely forgot I had, well needless to say I mounted it on my Dominator using some 11mm adaptors I also found that were still in the packaging yet too.  It looks like I'll be jumping the gun a little compared to what I had planned so I'll be out in the woods with it today.  I'll be using the JSB 18.13's in it today, I'm hoping someone opens theirs up soon so I can find out just what kind of a job it's going to be to adjust the regulator on this gun, I'd really like getting the power up to 40fpe or more if I can.  I've got some heavy pellets coming soon.



I only managed to get the gauge up to 200bar this fill but that will be more than enough shots for what I need

I'm sure I will Keith !!! I've got a mystery package coming today too, I think it might be my pellets but won't know for sure til it gets here.
I made an order last week from Pyramid Air for pellets and scope rings, they didn't have everything at PA so I've got something coming
today and something coming tomorrow, what I've got coming today is from PA and what's coming tomorrow is from Airgun Depot.

Thanks Dave !!! In about half an hour it will be light enough out that I can sight the thing in, I've got the windage pretty close already but the elevation I'm sure will be off.
After that I'll be off to the woods with it to really see how it's going to do.  I'm thinking it's going to be good though, it's not quite as light as my Varmint but it's way
lighter than Mrod by far.

Right now it's regulated so close to 30fpe you might as well call it a 30fpe gun with the JSB 18.13's and there's no doubt it'll do over 60 shots on a complete fill. With that 44 shot string I started at 210 bar and stopped at 100 bar and I still hadn't fallen of the regulator yet.

Dang rain is going to hold me off for a while but I probably can sight it in now.

I did a 20yd sight in from my window sill the six shots on the left were sighting it in and on the right you can see 5 shots that the inherently accurate barrels of the SPA guns holds true to this one as well.

Yeah, that didn't work on anybody else, either.  Looks like you got another typical SPA barrel.  I'm willing to bet that if the chippers weren't terrified of you before, they will be now

I tried some different pellets in my .25 cal Dominator this afternoon with interesting results. The AA 25.39 pellets were one ragged hole at 35 yards which I had already tested. I tried some 31 gn Grizzly pellets and they did not shot very well, then moved to H&N Baracuda and was back to one ragged hole at 35 yards. Finally tried Crosman 27.8 gn pellets and they looked like a shotgun pattern. I did not change the scope settings from zero with the AA 25.39, and interestingly enough the 31 gn Cudas POI was the same as the AA at 35 yards.  Shooting the Cudas the rifle was producing right at 40 ft lbs, so I know it is capable of what you are looking for.

I am looking to get a minimum of 50 ft lbs out of mine, so like you, waiting on more regulator information. I have done full fills with my Dominator but the bigger lead holds me to about 3 1/2 9 shot mags before it falls off the regulator.
