After giving her momma time to get home and rest, Betty Lou called to check in on her. She's doing much better and receiving lots of "I missed you" love from her little dog and cat.
Betty Lou went back into cooking mode. She surprised me because I though she was making spaghetti because she made that sauce. But apparently the sauce went straight to the freezer and she took half of the meat and made chili for chili cheese dogs.

I grilled up salmon and ate it with a side of hot and spicy pork rinds. A banana and pistachios for dessert.

OK I can't/won't argue that but they had them all spiced perfectly IMO!
I actually had lower expectations for the Chicken Tamales, but they were great too!

I had a Smashburger which Martha prepared on the Blackstone griddle.  It was yummy.

 My wife made Beef Lo Mein yesterday, and we cleaned it up tonight!

Betty Lou made an amazing lemon blueberry cake with icing made with milk, powdered sugar and lemon juice. I had a wedge with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream.

Just had a few tasty jalapeno poppers, Susan made for the the boy and me.

Last night supper was Appetizer of Sweet potato chips and assorted dips.
then Mussels stuffed and a Sauce similar to hollandaise.
followed by a full grilled Octopus with creamed spinach with mushrooms.
 Today's breakfast was two eggs sunny side up, fried potatoes,and pork belly.
Lunch, a wonderful "club sandwich" with tuna on a baguette roll.

Tonight will be authentic Mexican, Yucatan style.

I envy you Kris.  Man I gots to get me some mullet roe!

I just had two slices of a spiral sliced ham, two fried eggs, over easy, a bowl of grits and two slices of toast.  I always cook three eggs and then ask the memsahib if she would like one.  She says she doesn't like to eat breakfast but once she smells the eggs frying she usually comes around.

I had 2 sausage, tomato and cheese samiches on toasted Eggo waffles. Then I had a wedge of that lemon blueberry cake. I think I'm good until dinner time.
