Shot my HW30s yesterday afternoon at reactive targets for about a half-hour. I'm still breaking her in but I can see the light at the end of a very short tunnel . The shot cycle is smoothing out nicely and I've gotten the Williams peep zeroed in. It's a real pleasure shooting this thing.
Brought out my Beeman QB78S in .177 out today. I have it zeroed at 30 yards, yes you heard me right. This is on awesome little rifle. Consistent 1" groups at 30 yrds. It shoots about 1/4" high at 25 yards, but I still have not shot it at 35 yet. Pellets shot today were the Daisy Flat Nose.

The QB78 is a great platform, sure are accurate. My QB78D is not too pellet picky, but I’m now shooting H&N FTT 8.64 gr. 4.51 mm at the top of my list, 7 FPE at the muzzle. I zero’d it for 20 meters and confirmed it at 30 meters at a half mil holdover. And I can shoot CPL, CPHP and Gamo Red Fire at nearly the same POI.
Welcome to GTA Robert! The HW30S is a wise choice. They are great little guns. I missed out on the gray laminate 30s when AoA had them. That ok though, there is a beech stocked one in the house so we are set!

I haven't tried the GAMO Red Fires yet.
I put a few drops of Mobil 1 on the mainspring of my Diana 350 two days ago and have been shooting it in sessions of 15 shots. Today I was using the domed Benjamin and the Premier hollow points and the shot cycle and the cocking seem much smoother. There were no flyers that I couldn't attribute to being my fault and the groups were very tight. The Benjamin 14.3 grain domed seemed to group just a smudge better, but both pellets performed better than I expected given the results I have been getting. The only thing different is the oiling, same scope same pellets except I tried the domed Benjamin's for the first time just as a control and they hit right in the same group fired with the Premiers. I can't believe something as simple as a few drops of oil would improve things so much, but it's the only thing that's changed and I doubt in two days I've learned how to shoot the rifle that much better. It is smokier now when you fire it, but it isn't any louder and it definitely isn't detonating. There must be some blow-by going on but it doesn't appear to be causing issues. I'd like to try the 14.6 grain H&N FT pellets, if any of you folks that own a 350 .22 and have tried these I'd sure like to hear from you, and any other decent brand pellet up to 17 grains you've had good results with.

WesWes, I have and love my Diana AMO3 Stealth. Synthetic 340, basically. It’s favorite pellet is the H&N FTT 14.66 gr. 5.53mm. The Crosmans never shot good for me and feel really, really loose loading. I’d bet your 350 would do well with the H&N 5.53mm, maybe 5.52mm if they felt too tight.
