Trying out various pellets in my Kral Puncher and found that the PDG Bombs that I bought years ago work great when using the high power setting. First rifle that I found that they were accurate in. In my Gamo springer they even keyholed. Then I spent 20 minutes pumping the rifle back up to 180 bar pressure. Broke a sweat doing that.

1377 with backpacker stock here. Got a woodpecker that needs hazing off the cedar shingle siding of the second story. He's eating holes in the freaking stuff. I don't want to put holes in the eves or to kill or injure him. I think they are kind of cool. But he needs to move on.... At least it's not the steel sewer vent pipe this year. I brought out the XS60-C...
She is a CO2 gun and figured it was it's last time outdoors...

It’s looking like you may be right, Scott. I love my QB78D, too. After Wednesday, no more 80’s here in the NWA, 60’s at best for the following 10 days. But, I’ll still shoot mine, a little slower, out of the garage.

If that bird is pecking on your house it's because there is something to eat in your shingles. I'd check for carpenter bees or termites.

Yeah Scott. I've been shooting my XS60 quite a lot lately. With the moderator it is very quiet. Just a click from the trigger and a little puff at the muzzle, then WHAMMO! 18 grains of lead meets the target with a satisfying smack. I could write my initials with this gun.

I shot a couple of dozen 7.87 pellets though my 50S after Sunday School and before Women's Collegiate Soccer. I loves my 50S and really enjoy the young ladies' skills on a soccer pitch.

I patched up the front of the backstop, pined a 10yd Gamo target to it on the other end of the room and tested 4 different pellets in the Diana 24D. Built 12/94 and looking to be sitting in a basement since the mid to late 90's. Even the rust in the breech was making the pellets hard to load initially. I hadn't really shot it much since I won it at auction. The old Centerpoint 4x32 plex worked fine, but a couple yards across the room wasn't far enough for real clarity. But boy, did I enjoy it. Becoming one with a rifle just makes everything else seem much less important.
I tested it with .177 caliber; Beeman silver bear 7.1gr, H&N sniper light 7.5gr, JSB Exact Express 7.87gr, & CPUM 10.5gr heavy. The silver bear being the lightest, it was the most accurate at the short distance involved. Had to hold over & to the left, even with some clicks on the scope that will show actual improvement later at 10yds or so. Started one side of a group on the right side 9 & circle. Tagged the 8 once, then hit the bullseye lower left of center. Next up the H&N sniper light. These pellets seem to be loved by many of my Crosman's, particularly the Pumpmaster's with the shorter rifled barrel. And this Diana 24D is no exception, it seems? They were about the same, performance-wise, as the silver bears. Tagged in the same places, adding to the grouping. Scored a bullseye upper left of center, just touching the 10 line/circle. The JSB Express wasn't much different than the previous two! It seems 7.1gr to 7.87gr is a good weight range of .177 pellet for these low to mid-power air rifles. Adding to the group yet again, I turned it into a " V". Scored another bullseye, tagging the lower part of the upper left hole made by the sniper light. The top of the " V" measures some 3/4" across. Not bad for a rusty rifle that needs more cleaning and lube initially. Lastly, the Crosman Premier Ultra Magnums. Heavies at 10.5gr for .177cal. They shot low, aiming at the same point at such short range. Tagged on the 4/5 line, nearly under the 5. Then two more to the left of that. With 3-4 more just inside the 6 line, into the black. I'll have to try the 9.57gr Baracuda Extremes next time. I wanna see what this rifles maximum weight limit at accuracy is?

Shot my newest edition 1979 Daisy 922 after swapping out a couple O-rings still needs a chamber seal and new compression rubber to be top notch again, have them on the order list, I'm building will see what the next batch of 880s needs before placing parts order.
Then swapped the red dot for a 6x prism circle dot on the PP750 and sighted that in with some plinking in the mix.
While I was on a roll, I modified a a Beeman 1085 to fit a Benjamin Maximus, now where did I put them extra barrel bands

Will add them and the beefed up screws when I find them. But toger enough to do some more plinking after sight in.

Not the gun but the stock that I put it in, gives the gun a nicer feel IMO.

Squirrel season opened Saturday but I had to work the weekend. About six this evening I got a few minutes to go for a stalk around the homestead. I surprised three grays cavorting in a rather isolated Live Oak on the edge of my neighbor's pasture. There was only one squirrel route from that oak to an adjacent hammock of hardwoods and wax myrtle. One by one the each of the three tried the dangerous passage, darting along branches and leaping an eight foot gap to the safety of the thicket. And one by one I tracked each running target through the scope on my XS60c. And one by one I muffed easy shots at no more than fifteen yards. The last squirrel was cagey, always keeping at least a screen of branches between the two of us. I circled the tree looking for an opening but the critter only presented me with a Texas heart shot and I didn't think the Crow Magnums would do the job going the long way. I finally found a reasonable head shot at about 17 yards range. From the sound of the big wadcutter smacking squirrel I could tell that I had missed it's head but I figured I'd managed a good neck shot because it was obviously DRT. Problem is the critter hung up on the branch! It's thirty feet up in the crook of an oak. I don't remember this happening to me since I was a teenager.

It's actually Sheffield Village, but with the people around here and the rules/laws they insisted on, well? I have some more oldies I restored/restomodded, or at least got working again. I love the older wood-n-steel air sporters. Gonna break out the RWS 320M next. .177M @ 900-1000FPS. I thought y'all might like a little report on them and some initial pellet likes/dislikes.

This is a first for me, I shot 6 different Daisy 880s, seems all are up to par, scoped one and tried to give it away, but ended up with $ in my pocket anyway $:-\$ I did toss in a free tin of pellets though

To hot hunt squirrels, so took the "Russian Prince" and the 2 Kral raffle guns I won GTA out and spent the day shooting them. The Prince was laser as usual. The Kral Mega Marine liked the JSB heavies but the Kral NP-03 was not happy with anything I fed it, so it's back to figuring out what it likes.

Shot my 397 a bit with it’s favorite beeman pointed 8.4 gr. Pellets.
Glad I bought a few thousand of them recently, as I noticed they just doubled the price on them at PA.
Went from just under a penny a pellet to about 2 cents a shot

Oh well, still cheap shooting and super accurate in my rifle.
