Zoey and I went for a woods walk with the Kratos. She found four squirrels ... but when I caught up they were nowhere to be seen. I emptied the mag on a tree stump out of frustration.So...I got the field mowed.Brought out my model 99 .300 Savage and rechecked zero at 125 yrds with peeps.Oops, you meant airguns.... sorry, Deer season approach's

So Scott, you mowed your yard and then rechecked zero at 125 yards?!?!Sheesh I wish I had that kinda yard! And with squirrels still on the loose!
Shot one of my newer 880s and my 1977s Winchester standing semi rested at 20 yds. Ive been mostly shooting from the bench all summer, but hunting season is almost here!Time for more offhand practice.Tonight ill do it again with my 397.
Shot the 397 with a utg 2x7 pistol scope set on 7 power standing offhand and semi rested leaning against the wall, sitting and kneeling at 20 yds.Shooting the pistol scope mounted scout style is a bit of a challenge in that if your head is out of position at all, the scope blurs out. But, when the field of vision is clear, there’s no parallax problem at all... I like that!Makes me concentrate more on my form and is now second nature. This one has a stiff stock trigger on it, but I shoot it well for some reason from the bench and offhand. The 39x guns just fit me well I guess.I’m waiting on a 392 steroid job from Mac1 right now... can’t wait to try the trigger on that one when I get it back!
Got home late.. had chores to do...'Just now as a last ditch effort grabbed my old H9A pumper pistol and shot some wadcutters.Enough to make me smile before bedtime.
