Took the Hatsan 135 Vortex out, expecting raw power. I could tell when I cocked it that the gas ram had been compromised. It used to shoot CPHPs at 940 FPS; now it's down to 725 FPS.What should I do with this airgun? Have a new gas ram in it? Put a spring in it? Sell it? Ask Hatsan if they will repair it? Trade it? I have no particular fondness for this air rifle, so parting with it wouldn't bother me.Please advise.Thanks,-Whirly
Sounds like you're having more fun than a little kid at Christmas! Or maybe an Easter Egg Hunt!

More fun than a sock drawer full of rattlesnakes. The GAMO P-23.... yeah, that one. I remember now where I got that gun. First time I met Sheriff Charles West at one of Killer's turkey shoots. After the introduction we traded samples.. my apple pie and his clear run. Instant buddies. (It's a southern Alabama thang). He said that he heard I was the BB Gun Guy and he had a gift for me. He said he didn't know a dang thang about C02. I put a cart in it and it leaked right back out. I tossed it in a box and really never looked at it again... until today. That was several years ago. Here's a tip... I you don't have patience, leave this one in the "needs repair" box. That's what I should have done but, I'm a glutton. After taking it completely apart I notice there was no seal between the cart and the valve. I wish I would have seen that sooner. I didn't see anything else wrong with the gun. I put a good oring in to act as a seal and spent the next 2.5 hours putting the gun back together. I put some oil on the tip of a fresh cart and installed it. BOOYA !!! No leaks and shoots as strong as the day it was born. This is kinda an odd ball gun. You'll just have to watch a video on it to see what I mean.Another one goes in the "good" pile.

I took a can of aersol silicone oil with the straw attachment, pressed the straw up to the piercing pin to make a seal, then pressed spray and at the same time pulled the trigger repeatedly. this cleared out the crud and the gun has worked flawlessly for years now. Only Gamo I own LOL
Storming here this morning .... so I dug out the Victor to shoot in the garage.WHOA! ...I am out of shape.

I was going to show you what I found last night from Amazon...and can no longer find them. Two different listings . One was shown with an eight rd pellet clip...like for the crosman pistols. the other seemed to be 12 round bb or single shot pellet ah, well...I think I remember sending the Vigi to you with a camo holster, that barely fit...
