Glad you noticed the loose fitting pellets on the R9!

I was very interested in the d34, T05 ? T06? Just that there's a certain price-point my better half's frying pan seems to respond to... I wound up ordering a 362 Anniversary (20% off thanks to @BerkshireHunter of New England).

To stay on-topic ... fired a few rounds through the ailing Beeman 0035 to try chrono connect. One 900's, a 11xx and 1300's readout, nope, definitely no supersonic stuff goin on. Ordered a cheapo chrono.

I got in a few rounds this morning with my peep sighted HW30S when the sun was aligned with the openings in the tree leaves. 

Tomorrow,  weather (heat) permitting, I'm going to concentrate on my big and beautiful Diana 34.  I was considering selling her but I have too much invested in her and she is too good a gun and too accurate to give away.

I only had time to take one shot today, and it was with the Notos at a steal plate.

Not mine, it's a customers gun but I shot it to make sure the lapping was doing its job.

Setup my swinging targets and shot my Benjamin 392PA (#445 of 500 Limited edition) and with only two pumps I hit the targets and and after 8 hits shot the reset target and it work just fine.  The gun is like new as its been in long storage and I don't even remember when I purchased it.  Charles

Greg, if you’re struggling with the heft, remove the scope and try a Williams peep on the rear. That’s how mine is set up and it’s fantastic.

She is hefty but she is a shooter.  The open sights are long gone but, I just have to struggle
her from the safe to the bench on the patio.   Then, it is FIRE AWAY!

It's been a long time since I've shot my Diana 34 Classic. So long that I'd forgotten how big and heavy she is.  I'd also forgotten how well she shoots.  After about five sight-in shots at 25 yards, we started putting H&N 4.51 FTT's into five-shot, dime-size groups at 30 yards and the 30-yard spinner spoons were no-brainers. I suspect that her weight contributes greatly to her accuracy on the bench in my shaky old hands. 

After about a couple of hours of this airgun joy, it got too warm to stay out but, on a brighter note, we got about a three-minute rain.  After that brief shower, it really got stifling.

My HW35E vs Kim’s HW50S at 25 yards today. Thought it would be fun since it seems people are constantly comparing those guns. After she gave our new rabbit target a nose she challenged me to do same. That’s my .177 pellet stuck inside her . 22. Squirrel target was my last shot of the day. I can’t do it any better, I should sell them all and retire ha ha. High right was Kim’s first shot of the day after switching from Crosman last night to HW today. Pulled right through to 2nd stage. After the frustration I had with little nagging issues with this gun early on it’s rewarding to see it shoot this way.

Couldn't hurt! Mine kicks harder than my .22s. Probably still needs breaking in.

I bet if you shot those groups near dusk when solar wins die down they would be even smaller...

I headed to the public range in the national forest this a.m. with a truck load of guns and gear.  I chronographed a couple of PBs and then tried some long range shooting with my .177 caliber Crosman Fire and the highly modified chopped and re-barreled .22 caliber Fire.  The 12" barreled .22 is impressively accurate at 75 yards with 14.3gr Piranhas (3" groups).  Even with H&N FTT the .177 barrel is only good out to 55 yards.  Beyond that the wind was pushing the light pellets around.  Thinking about going back tomorrow with my .22 caliber Hatsan mod 125 and my Xisico XS60C to try some 100 yard shots.

So far, I've chased coke cans around the back yard with my handguns.  I really like to see the cans jump; however, today's cans are so light and thin skinned, all you mostly get is a hole in the can, assuming you hit it at all.  These handguns are much more challenging than shooting the spoons with a long gun.  Even so, whether permitting, I may shoot some 10 M targets with a Daisy 853 after lunch OR take a nap.

Speaking of challenges, it's hard for me to see and load the pellets facing forward in my Crosman 2300K Custom.  Any suggestions?

I grabbed my Schofield #3 this morning planning to keep it handy when I was cutting some trees down. I attempted a test shot and it was completely out of C02. I was sure I didn't leave it that way. I put another cart in and sure enough, the dreaded hssssssssssss. So I pulled that cart out and dropped a generous amount of secret sauce on the seal and put another cart in. It hissssd a bit long then seemed to seal.
I've only shot maybe 3 carts of C02 through this gun since it was new but it's been awhile since I last shot it.
It might be time to start looking for reseal videos.

Seal kit ordered direct from Barra. $10 delivered. If the secret sauce fixed the leak I will have a back up for when it don't.

Update..
After a few hours I returned to the Red Shed and the #3 is holding C02. I shot 18 shots and the last one seemed just as strong as the first. I'll check it again in the morning.

I set mine on edge of breech next loading port and roll it in. Learned that trying to load a scoped Crosman where you can’t reach down from the top.

I use these for hard to reach loading ports.

They are also handy for sorting my cast pellets. I can just push good ones aside and pluck bad ones out.

Had a ball shooting my Custom Shop 1300KT in carbine and .22 caliber. Three pumps and the targets fly.  Four pumps and even more jumping.  Charles
