My HW30S shoots about any pellet good but without a doubt the JSB RS 7.33 grain pellet is off the charts. Buy a bunch of them. If you research you will find I am not the only one that has figured this out. A HW30 and JSB 7.33 pellets are a winning combo. They were made for each other.
Hey Lizzie,IIRC, it's already been established; the AA 7.32 gr. // JSB 7.32 shoot best the HW30S .
Where in MI do you shoot?

Cool! Thanks Brazos!Btw- the Brazos is about 5 miles from my house- haha!
For pesting, I got a couple gray squirrels and also wounded a couple. Needs a few more FPE to be reliable on nutters, I think. I've never failed to put down a sparrow or starling though!
JSB 7.3 or Air Arms Falcon 7.3 are accurate and give a good balance of velocity and accuracy.JSB/Air Arms 7.9 and 8.4s also shoot well and seem to penetrate a little better than the 7.3s. Crosman 7.9 also shoot well and are slow enough (< 750 fps) out of the '30 that you don't have to worry about leading the bore from the alloy they use; and no need to lube. One cool thing about the '30 is that it doesn't shoot hard enough to overpower wadcutters, so they're back in the game. Mine likes RWS Meisterkugeln Pistol. If you find they're accurate enough at your typical pesting ranges, you're going to like the impact they lay down. Of course for plinking. I would also try some of the lightweight Beeman hollow points with the sharp edges. For pesting, I got a couple gray squirrels and also wounded a couple. You'll pick up your R1 and be like: "Gee, suddenly this is hard to cock!"
