So does everyone think this filter is as strong as the diablo. I am gonna order one but just wanting some info from someone who has it if you feel very safe using it pressure wise.

I think it's every bit as strong as the Diablo just a lot less expensive.

Thanks for the info Pelletina Leadinger. I really appreciate the feedback. FuzzyGrub had sent me a PM yesterday and has one he is willing to sell me with the desiccant also. He decided to use a smaller version with his setup. Will save me the time and trouble ordering it from china gonna go send him the money now. Hopefully he will be able to get it in the mail this morning if all goes well. All I need is to get my new Airhog tank in the mail now and I am set to go. No more worrying about air. Just will be hard to stay stocked with ammo now lol with all this free air.

Bits and pieces still arriving for my Yong Heng HPA compressor build. Got the Gold Filter today and from the fittings that came with it, I have found:
Chinese female Foster does not fit JB's male Foster. JB's female foster does fit the Chinese male foster (it has to do with the positioning of the groove and the end-shoulder on the male).  So, some creative re-arranging becomes necessary.
Also, the Chinese fittings are 10mm x 1mm thread and not BSPP or NPT            ........don't you just wish we could standardize all this stuff??
One consolation, according to the markings,  the hose that came with it is Made in Germany, with a stated test pressure of 1,600bar and a working pressure of 630bar.
Will post the complete build in due course (Yong Heng Air Pump, closed- loop chill-water system, Gold Filter molecular sieve and activated charcoal filter).

The only problem I had with mine as far as foster connections go are just one of my Air Venturi adapters wouldn't fit in the female end of the  filling hose but luckily I had another that did work. So, I'm all set as far as that goes. But I've heard of some others having problems with the foster connections though.

Well the cart is all done with a fresh paint-job to top it off. Just awaiting my freight forwarder to deliver the Yong Heng Compressor (late next week) which will sit atop the Hankison chiller. The chill-water closed-loop cooling system is capable of delivering water temps down to around 15*C no-load (ambient here can get to 35*C easily). Pretty happy with the way this build is turning out (anything worth doing, is worth overdoing)       ......now working on the clamping arrangement for vertically mounting the "Chinese Gold Filter"

Here's my twist on setting up the Gold Chinese High Side Filter Dryer:
I can find no concrete evidence to support the need for a PVC insulating sleeve, so as stated earlier,  I am packing the tube directly with the desiccant media and we'll see how that works out over time. 
I note that one of the end-caps that came with the Gold Filter has a stainless-steel perforated grate and this I will use as the air inlet (it should help dissipate and cool the incoming air and allow for collection of the condensate).
At this inlet end, I am using a spring (from an old flashlight) and a Teflon disk with a center-hole (Teflon is what I had handy in the workshop, plus it cuts really nice on the lathe). This will maintain constant pressure on the Tampon/Zeolite/Tampon pile within the tube, keeping the Zeolite beads tightly packed, as they should be. I believe the spring will also provide some needed space at the bottom of the pile to  separate and collect some condensate, which will get blown out when the compressor bleed is opened to depressurize the filter and lines at the end of tank filling. Some pics and a drawing follows:
Footnote: I am also considering installing a "T" fitting at the pull-ring safety valve. This is the output from the low pressure chamber at the cyclonic water trap (maybe ~150psi) that leads to the high pressure cylinder. At the "T" I am considering installing a timed, automatic bleed which should intermittently blow off any "low-side" condensate trapped by the cyclone  (See:  amazon.com/gp/product/B015IY9VJI/ref=pe_62810_255250120_em_1p_0_ti)   ....normally, one would have to pull that ring every so often during filling, to bleed-off that accumulation of condensate.

The above gold filter's ends caps look nothing like yours, mine are just flat faced. curious if you have a filter from another seller or maybe the filter has been updated to this new style end cap for some reason?

FWIW: The one I received on 9/6 was the same style as the original, ie flat ends.  It must be a recent change.

I am interested in seeing the amount of oil/water you guys are experiencing trapped by the intake side of the tampon and the run-times associated with those amounts of effluent.
Is this picture realistic?

I use a small,tampon only, pre filter to my Gold filter. Even my Pre filter tampon has NEVER looked even close that pic....

I do see some oil staining and of course water on my pre filter. My Gold filter tampon section will get some color right where the inlet meets it, otherwise its white.
