I used 3mm X 25mm o-rings on mine.
Those should be fine. Just don't apply silicone oil/grease. I haven't seen its use mentioned in this thread but everyone uses for other o-rings.
GenDoc. How long did it take for you to receive your filter? I just order mine Monday and it is still in China.
Yes, using silicone oil/grease is OK BUT he is asking about using it with silicone 0-rings. They don't play nice with silicone oil/grease and will degrade. All these other o-rings y'all are mentioning are nitrile, viton, etc.
I wonder if there is some kind of coating one could do the inside of the filter with to do away with the pvc?
