Before that listing should have been posted it should have been previewed with the function on the eBay add template to insure it was correct in all areas, not my fault it was not correct.

I have contacted the seller and explained the fact that an incorrect price is not my fault and I will not bear the cost for their mistake. If I do not see a shipping notice with tracking number with in 24 hours I will be opening a dispute case with eBay and they can decide how it will be handled from there.

This may seem wrong to some but if it was posted correctly the First Time I would not have to be dealing with it now. My time and sanity are far more valuable to me than allowing someone else's error to impact my life and time.

I have posted this response in the original bargain gate thread "Ebay compressor for 236.00 dollars" to let those that on this thread see how it progresses, For how the seller was going to collect the additional 70 dollars I have no clue as I will not pay it. Here is my last post in the other gate till I have more info tomorrow evening.

If you read my last post I have sent the seller a message stating I expect the item I purchased to be sent to me to me for the price on the listing. I can tell you from experience that eBay expects you to try to work things out with the other party first before starting a dispute. They have the ability to see all transactions and messages sent between both parties. As far as how the seller choose to collect the additional 70 dollars I have no clue since I refuse to pay it since it is a form of extortion. I do not bother with eBay online procedure to file a dispute since this is not my first rodeo and have the phone number for customer service written down for times such as this, I would rather speak to a live person than send an email for situation lime this. 1-866-540-3229

I will know more tomorrow after 6 pm when 24 hours since I sent the message to the seller has passed and I either receive a reply stating the item has shipped and have a tracking number to prove it. If no response then its a call to eBay and the ball gets rolling.

I am sorry for posting this supposedly bargain in that gate now that it has turned out to be a scam but then had no way of knowing that ahead of time. If you use the system that eBay has in place then you are protected in cases like this especially when PayPal credit is used since they can remove the funds from the sellers account at will.

The seller is a moron. So seek out a good deal where the bottom won't fall through and enjoy. I thought you were trying to defend the deal and/or seller so I was attempting to enable you to do so for some reason unbeknownst to me. Screw 'em. Hold their feet to the fire if you are able. Just don't waste too much time trying to find that ultimate deal that will never come to be. And you've been mentioning your past deal that fell through over and over and will do the same with this one. I'd much rather you just get a compressor at a decent price and join the conversation as to upgrades and other inquiries and share in everyone's elation.

Well I have read everyone comments on this compressor issue and understand all the views both positive and negative. The only reason I have not just bought one at the regular price is I have a shoebox so am in no hurry to pay the full price for one as it is now.

I would like to report that my diligence and standing by my principles that it was not my fault resulted in the sale being completed to my satisfaction for 236.00. The compressor is shipping by UPS right now and should be here in 5 days. The seller took responsibility for the mistake in the price and honored the sale. They left me positive feedback and the same will be left for them.

So I will be the proud owner of a Yong Heng compressor in the near future so sometimes you just have to stand your ground when its the right thing to do.

Already got the gold filter with the 13x sieve in it so just have to add some activated charcoal to it .

I have thought about that but feel instead it will be a good one so that they know they really did the right thing in this case.

I will inform everyone when it arrives, Tracking shows Tuesday the 29th by UPS for 47 pound package. Now need oil and water flow meter plus activated charcoal. Then figure out the setup and mounting the gold filter and water supply container. So much to do so little time.
