Ken,Correct me if I'm mistaken, but from previous posts I assumed that you have the Yong Heng compressor? It looks like a different configuration than the Tuxing. Is there a similar video out there geared towards rebuilding the Yong Heng? I am presently torn between the cheaper Yong Heng and the more expensive Carette. I think the Yong Heng would be great for topping off my PCP guns but if I decide to get a SCBA tank, the Carette might be a better choice. Decisions, decisions.

Decisions, decisions.I personally regret buying the Tuxing compared this this model of Yong Heng. https://m.aliexpress.com/search.htm?keywords=4500psi+compressor#/Many sellers call this the boutique model. The reason is the dual oil water separator/bleeders. If oil is coming from anywhere it is from stage 1. I think the young Heng of this configuration would do better at getting rid of oil from that second stage where it becomes crucial that no oil, even the proper iso vg 150 oil, gets there. Also the condensate has more area to pool up in those separators. Only downside I can see is that I bet that high pressure bleed screw gets hot, real hot. Otherwise the guts are the same, just different channels between stage 1 and 2, and 2 and tank/gun. Mind you I don't have a Yong Heng so I am speculating on videos and available parts I have found. I may get one in the future and run 2 small compressors in tandem for faster fill times for medium sized tanks or just a back up.
I like that one that has the water tank right on top and has a larger drier. I don't see those available in 110v though.

Water on top of an electric motor...what could possibly go wrong there?
Just got notice that the Yong Heng has shipped. So my wait begins. I still need to order the chem lube.
Tracking shows it arrived in Memphis at 2am on Sunday from Anchorage. It's still there as of this afternoon.
