Mark sadly I won't be able to make it to the fun shoot

I'm headed down to my dads around that time and will be in Missouri visiting with him and my step mom but mom to me

. I do plan on hitting a fun shoot one of these days to finally meet my extended family and camo everyone's stuff when their not looking hehehehe

Received a couple Rocker1 hammers in the mail. But, I have a slight set back. The shoulder surgery I had last year is acting like something let go. I'm headed back to the surgeon this afternoon to get some x-rays and see what needs to be done. Hopefully it just popped out and back in. I am not looking forward to that experience again. At least if I do need something done ole SynBad will be one of the first guns I can get back to shooting and tinkering with.

Well, I gathered up enough urge and went out and put the lighter of the 2 hammers that David sent me in. Whoever said these things are easy to work on was absolutely right.... if you can call installing a TSS and Rocker1 hammer working on one. This hammer weighs 44 and the other is just over 49. Like I've said all along... I want small game and plinking with accuracy out to 50yds and shot count. I have 2 3300psi tanks. One at 80cf and one at 100cf. My fill station to get 3300psi fills is a 90 mile round trip. I can get 3000psi 8miles down the road. This is why a compressor/booster setup is on my short list. For now I just need to be an air miser. With the shoulder being what it is I gotta pace myself. I'll attempt to get the chrono out tomorrow and do some more tuning. But for now I can tell you this... Smooth cocking and mouse fart quite. And it's sissy sipping air. I know i'm gonna want to turn it up some or better yet lower my fill pressure. I filled to 3100 and shot 3 clips down to 2600 and stopped. I shot the RWS Superdomes at 35 yds. It took 5 shots to get the scope back on target then every shot after that either touched or were inside the dime size sticker. Mind you, I am a one arm shooter right now. Correction... I'm a very happy one arm shooter right now.

I think I'm going to grab some info out of this thread and start a new one. If for no other reason.. so I can reduce it down to my results after the TSS and Hammer install. I'll add a link once I get it going.

Yeah, I got a whole pocket full of excuses. Which one you wanna hear? I actually had the gun out this weekend and I was really impressed. I was getting 70 - 80 shots from 2900 down to 1900. I didn't have the chrono out but I was shooting at 35 yds and staying within a dime. I still want to put a regulator in it and begin at a lower fill and get consistent fps because I'm running off of tanks until I can come up with a compressor or booster set up. The gun has come around quite well. When I got it, (of the pellets I had) it only liked Benji 14.3 destroyers. Then it began shooting RWS SD 14.5. Yesterday it was diming Crosman HP and UM. That makes me really happy.

SynBad gets a peg leg and there's a new light in the harbor...
Ordered the 2" weaver rails to put the bipod legs on SynBad. The set turned out to be a single so I had to order another. So for now SynBad is a one legged pirate. However, he can light up his booty with 950 lumens.

Had a 1" weaver rail so SynBad ain't confined to Captain's Quarters. Stuck it on with one bolt hole until the new one arrives.
