Nothing wrong with tuning for your own needs. I'm a hunter and take long distance shots so I stay under a 2% ES, but 4% is fine for around my house for plinking.

I don't use a barrel band either but did when I was using the stock barrel with good results.

If I recall what I did 2 weeks ago, I used Firefox browser to install JAVA, and it worked.

Right click on your desktop and select create new shortcut,
browse to the Program Files folder on your C: drive,
Open the Internet Explorer folder and select iexplore.exe

Close Edge (Never liked that when I ran Windows 10)
Open your new short cut and go here

Had a great weekend. Thanks to you guys that helped me with the Marauder. I ended up putting it away and getting the Daisys out and spending the rest of the evening shooting with Betty Lou. Fortunately for me she shot the Marauder a couple times and didn't care for the cocking effort. I get to keep it. This night shift thing should be over for me in a week or so and I can get back to so sort of normal life. I got a couple other projects going so I think it's time to send the stock off to Brother Ed (Shadow).

For my purpose I've tuned where I want to be with power and count. My next move will be the hammer to smooth out the cocking. Strangely enough, my gun's favorite pellet is the Benjamin Destroyer 14.3. Now, I'm sure I can find JSB or H&N or anyone of 4 or 5 others that it will like. I'm just not into special pellets for one gun. But, I order .20 pellets online for my Sheridans ( I have 5 of them), everything else I buy locally.....cheap. I have yet to stretch mine out past 35yds. The Benji Destroyers stack at 35. At 26 - 27 fpe I really think there is plenty of knock down and damage at 40 - 45 yds for pesting with a Destroyer. I'll get into accuracy this weekend. Life is just upside down right now with this night shift deal.

So last night i mounted a 6-24x56 leepers scope on the my brand new .22cal synt marauder I dine have the correct rings so had to use what I had. A compensated UTG 11mm to weaver mount and of i went

Man this rifle it's quiet next to the SPA M10 witch defenetly Norte powerful than the marauder

So I didn't have quality pellets so I tad to use what I had with was some cheap Mexican pellets Arround the 15-15+ grains don't know the exact weight

But beer bottles at 25,35,45,55,65 yards disappeared jajaja

Because of the UTG compensated mount i had a hard time hitting the target at first I could only se the bottom of the bottles on the right corner of my scope
Once I finally figures the poi man o man bottle after bottle exploded and me to jajaja
Being right next to the ver powerful M10 It made me uncomfortable but bottles were disappearing one after the other jajaja

Filled up to 3000psi and went down to 2000psi with well over 40 shots

Very happy if I can hit beer bottles at 65 yards a bunny or a jack rabbit does not stand a chance

Once I get the correct rings for the scope I'll work on groups and accuracy

So my 70 dlls eBay pump worked great filled the marauder like nothing 60 to 65 pumps from 2000 to 30000psi

Oh but filling the M10 was I nightmare went through many orings and at the end wen finally we were able to put an oring that did not get damaged at the insertion of the fill probe, the rifles inlet hole stars leaking air, seem like some thing got stuck in there

Anyway marauder .22 synthetic stock yeay happy days

I might to a shot string today or tomorrow
I have a lot of things going on this weekend walls to tear down, food to prepare for church fund raising at the score baja 250 off-road race tomorrow

My Grandfather lived and died in Rosarita. Never been there.... always wanted to. He kept an address in Riverside and made the trip once a month to collect his retirement from the Ohio Turnpike and do his business. He was considered a rich man in Mexico on his retirement.

I asked Shadow if he would paint the stock on my AT44. He now has it and has even started work on it. After seeing this thread I could not stop thinking about his work. I only had to ask, didn't have to beg or anything. If not for this forum and this thread I would have never known about his work. Woooow, Now I feel better. I will post a picture when he gets it done, If he doesn't.

do you do your magic only on synthetic stocks, or on wood stocks too? I'm reshaping a gen1 marauder stock that may need a little love when I'm done.

(probably the kind of "love" that frankenstein's monster needed....)
