Quote from: triggertreat on March 16, 2017, 12:09:06 AMWell it has already been a great conversation piece with all the additions without the new look, but will be more so now. It reminds me of the time I painted my bicycle purple as a young lad. It became an instant conversation piece amongst my neighborhood friends. My dad did keep his thoughts about it quiet and just said "whatever you like". So whatever you like. Lol... Thanks. I think.

I think you're just "Plum Crazy" about purple is all.
Terry, that does look very nice!Bill, have you sent your stock off to Brother Ed yet?
You know the difference between Pink and Purple?....Your Grip!
Not yet, still playing. Weekend looks to be 70's and sunny.
You can see the red pearl better in this shot. Getting ready to post a bunch of pics in my .22 thread.
Should have a new to me .22 Marauder SynRod coming in a week or so. Thinking of having Brother Shadow do a bit of Eddifying to it. Some of you may have seen the awesome job he did on the FireCat and some of the other member's guns. The man has talent! Give him an idea and wait for the results. I been cruising around looking for some I ideas. I ran in to the Harry Potter Marauder Critters. Pretty cool little fellas but I just ain't a Potter kinda guy. Then I kinda stepped away from the whole "Marauder" idea mainly because it's just too predictable. I think I'm going to send these next 2 pics to Brother Ed and see what he comes up with.... Whatcha Think?
True that. I started painting toys purple in the 90's. There has been a long sting of purple cars, boats, trucks, golf carts and pretty much anything else that would sit still long enough for me to paint it. Interestingly enough I have never painted anything Mopar Plum Crazy. Once I landed on the Passion Purple from H of K I've never even considered any other. And....I'm typing this on a phone in a purple case and I'm wearing a purple hoodie. lol...
When Ford introduced the Probe GT model in the 90's they could bought in an awesome metallic purple. But I could never bring myself to walk into an paint supplier and ask for "Probe Purple".
