Hardware stores under plumbing mostly got Danco 100% silicone grease, none petroleum base additives on them.

I sent two guns to a fellow member in the Seattle area. They were supposed to be delivered on the 13th. They sat in Memphis for 7 days without tracking update. They hit Federal Way Wa. today..... you talk about panic.....

Got the pump this morning. Opened the box and things looked great. The test plug was already in the female foster fitting. I made sure the o-ring was in place and screwed in the gauge. Pumped to 3000 psi. It pumped up and held. I bled it off and took it to show Betty Lou in her computer room. I pumped it to 2900 and it instantly bled back to zero. Betty Lou wasn't impressed. I checked to make sure bleed screw was seated. All looked good. I connected to the Marauder and began to pump. It pumped to 2500 psi and would not pump any more and leaked back off. I placed a request for return. I'm sure I can find the problem and fix it with the rebuild parts included but, if we continue to do this we will continue to get this level of quality. $70 is a good deal on this pump.... if it works out of the box.

I can see a drip of oil coming out under the bottom large brass nut at the base of the pump. It may need tightened or it might need a new seal... either way.. not working is not working. I did put a wrap of Teflon tape on the gauge because that's the only thing I had to put on the pump and I wanted to make sure I did everything right. Ebay sent an e-mail stating that if I didn't hear from the seller by 3/25 or couldn't come to terms I should let them know and they would get involved.

Don't want to dig in until I hear what they have to say. The pump looks very good and did pump right up first time. I was feeling very satisfied with it.

The female foster fitting snaps right on the Marauder. I did not have that issue that others had. Some others said that their pump came with a plastic storage box. Mine did not.

pretty much a chinese crapshoot.. which for the price is fine.. the 100 dollars saved over the retail sites is well worth it

I have one of the better Chinese bull 2 pumps, and have had it apart twice already. My advice is get used to taking them apart, they can stop working for several easy to fix reasons...Even a buildup of junk will stop them cold.

Did you see the white washer seal when looking at the guage and bleed off port. O-rings, tiny black ball and white washer seals everything no need for teflon tape.

Yep, like I said.. the orings were there I just did the Teflon because I'm used to putting Teflon on threads, I have since taken it off with same results. Like I said, I'm pretty sure I can fix it. I just hate receiving something that don't work like it should. We tune our guns when we get them. Should we tune our back up pumps too?

Ummmm.... what is advertised and what I pay for...
Really, it ain't that big of deal. I just want to see how they want to handle it before I dig in and find something cracked that I can't fix.

I brought one about 2 months ago as a backup for my Hill Pump, don,t figure I,ll ever need it as a backup so I hooking it up to a gearbox motor and have a electric pump..
