Quick update - the ebay seller agreed to refund me $50 and I get to keep it. So I got the pump for $20.

The eBay fitting you mentioned is a quality piece from what I can tell. It fits the Disco fill perfectly as well as another Parker and a Foster qd on hand. I had also considered doing what you did, in lieu of the additional bspp adapter. I asked in the other thread and now here too, does anyone know a supplier for the small white delrin insert seal used in these $72 pump hose fittings?

#8 o-ring should give you a seal. That's what i did when i replaced the micro gauge on my on off fitting that connects to my qb79 and an Ninja HPA bottle. The gauge has flat end and long enough to connect to on/off fitting also with a flat surface.

Just use the white washer from your faulty one or use a #08 o-ring or you can use Oatey Fastape > http://www.homedepot.com/p/1-2-in-x-260-in-PTFE-Thread-Seal-Tape-306212/203529858
Similar to what Crosman use on air tight fittings, It's black ptfe tape.

Another coupla questions on the $72 pumps. Mine came with a bag of spare parts minus spare oil. Is silicone oil what I need and where should I apply it? Also, should these G6 clones be opened up and inspected prior to use?

You may be able to find it locally if there is a dive shop near you. The container I bought was 1/4 oz. and sold for $5. There is plenty enough for rebuilding several pumps.

Thanks for the tip. After searching a little more I realized I would need grease, not oil. I have a tube, I believe it's labeled "Super Lube". Anyway, it's silicone based and I've used previously in co2/hpa rebuilds.

There was a post on super lube on a pcp pump rebuilt and it had and it went kaboom at the vent screw. I only use 100% silicone grease and oil on my pumps.

Mike you're right about the Super Lube, I ended up researching that a long time ago, it was right after I bought a tube (wrong kind too) from Harbor Freight.

I got a tube of white lithium grease around here someplace. I'll have to check that out.

I use white lithium grease on my garage door opener rail & hinges. I use to use the super lube on my co2 air guns but not on high pressure air rifles got it used now on my fishing reels...it works!!! no fear of kaboom. I now use Trident 100% silicone and 100% silicone shock oil #500 & #750, no petroleum distillates.

Bentong, are you saying don't use the Super Lube synthetic with Syncolon ® (PTFE) for hpa/pumps? What you show in the pic is what I have. Also, is white lithium grease a no-go too?
If that's the case I'll hunt down some 100 % silicone grease.
