I had the regal in 22 until I got my wolf. the regal is fantastic rifle 50 plus shots tack driver one of the best triggers iv had 2nd right behind the wolf have had plenty of fx guns also but like the built and stocks of the daystates very quiet also back yard friendly for sure as the fx I think youll need the hugget that's 250 I think just my opinion as I havnt shot the streamline

Hard to beat those Classic Daystate lines.

You said that BullPups don't interest you ( and I completely see your point ) But at the same time you mentioned Cricket,.......Have you taken a look at the the new Cricket Mini-Carbine ?

I'm totally taken by that design.

Never owned an FX, but I have had a Daystate Regal in .22 for a few months, and I really like it. I bought it more for hunting and backyard pest control, as I like the light weight, and a very field oriented stock configuration, much like my rimfire sporters. It is very accurate, and has a good trigger. It doesn't quite compare with my RAW HM1000 for accuracy, but it comes darn close in a much lighter package, at half the cost. The Daystate has their standard moderator on it, and it is quiet enough for backyard shooting in the city.

I REALLY like the look of the walnut Streamline. However, I definitely wouldn't buy one until after it's been out for awhile and some positive user reports have surfaced. I've read quite a few reports of initial quality control issues with FX guns. And while I've read a lot of positive reviews about FX accuracy, I haven't found as many reviewers that praised the build quality (especially with regards to their trigger units) or ease of servicing. I'm hoping that the Streamline bucks these trends and that it's praised as a solid reliable rifle.

Yeah I like the looks of the walnut......... but you know it has been rushed to market as they were supposed to be released around June and it is now the end of December. Makes me wonder what happened or if they Rushed production.

Ok...... After reading on how loud the daystate action is. And seeing some chrony testing on the FX Streamline. I placed the order for a walnut Streamline.

Next on the list is a LDC I dont know if I should go with Bwalton, NC,Huggett or if you have a other recommendation. Looking for Quiet as possible around 30fpe.

Hey, bro, gotta jump in on that one. I have an FX Wildcat and was the proto type for Baxter's FX LDC. The loudest sound my Wildcat makes is the target impact. It is RIDICULOUSLY quiet. I can hear a mouse fart over my shot. Baxter is a friend and I begged him to make me one for the Wildcat and he was kind enough to do it. The Wildcat with LDC pictured on his website is mine. When I got it back, the accuracy actually improved! I was getting around .3 ctc on a 32 yard range at 32 yards. With the LDC, the shot cleaned up to one ragged hole at 32 yards.

Was just over on the YELLOW reading a thread / review on the FX streamline.

WOW is that gun LONG being nearly 45" with the factory LDC and just shy of 50" with a Hugget fitted.
Accuracy shown is stellar !! and weight low. Looks to be a winner so long as walking around with a Pool Que length gun is not an issue.

Yeah the .25 is long.... thank goodness the .22 is about 4" shorter.

On The yellow, I noticed they compared it somewhat to the Discovery.

Oddly enough, I just received a new Maximus in .22, and is the first pellet firing AG I have fooled with in some time. All my shooting time has been taken up with Big Bores that I cast for.

I did not expect much from the Maximus at all. Just wanted a light woods walking gun that was fast and light. Something my .257 is definitely not.

Did a preliminary accuracy test, and was shocked. It shot as well as my old MTC from daystate. The first targets for site in were at 30 yards, and it was shooting with a Not Recommended pellet, (the 18.2 gr JSB), and it was literally hole in hole.

Stretched her out to 50 had got less than 1/2 inch. At 70 yards, 1 to 1 1/4" . No way in heck did I expect this kind of accuracy from a less than 200 usd PCP weighing in at 5.2 lbs, 6.3 with my 4.5x14x50mm Zeiss Scope on it! WOO-HOO!!!

I would love to see FX come out with the old and "Beautiful" again. This new streamline reminds me so much of it!

Should be getting a TKO in the mail either this afternoon, or in time for the high winds and cold temps forecast for tomorrow. GRRRRR!!!

The Stock on the Maximus is modeled after the German style stocks. Right down to the schnabel forend. Very slim, and a fast drop comb. Too fast for me. And I am going to drill a small hole in the underside of the area between the pistol grip and the but pad, and fill it with non expanding foam. The hollow sound when it is bumped simply has to go!

I'm anxious for someone to get a Streamline and tear into it a bit. Although it looks great, I'm interested in the internal build quality.
