Yes it is regulated Norman...I haven't ran a string on it yet but will probably do it one weekend when I am off.

Thats a great idea...also its pretty private...However, seeing Glenn is interested in coming and probably trying to dial in his Gladius. Not sure if he can't make the drive that far north. Whatever y'all choose is good with me because hitting targets at 100 yds plus at sea level vs. high altitude still won't make a different with my new gun...

If yall want, we can set up a vote.

I have no preference at all. I'm just as happy shooting at the landfill or up north. I just vote we shoot, but not this weekend

Collared Doves?

It seems that these birds first came into the US in Miami. The west is covered up with them, and you would think that Georgia would be, too, but I have seen very few. Indeed, the farms and grain distributors and places like that that I have seen have few birds of any kind at all. I'm wondering what others' experience in Georgia has been? Are we going to have to move to Arizona?

In the fall and winter I see way more Crows than doves in the WMA that I hunt in.

Yes Norman, that's the store but I've yet to hear back from the manager so I'm not sure now. I'll keep checking on the thread but I'm not sure of my attendance yet.

Trinh, good choice on the caliber, I was wondering the same thing about when and ware. My vote is either this Sunday or next at my range, if Glen can make it. I have ben working on it and have made two more stands and a paper target holder that slots into all the swivel stands. If y'all want to meet at Normans range then I'm in as well.

I am down for Jesse's place. Trying to get some aero magnum bullets for the Slayer .357, not sure when they will stock them. Hopefully this week. Dying to see if the smart shooting software actually works on the digital scope from 80-150 yds. Saw guys using them are raving about it.

What date are we talking? I finally made contact w/the store manager in Stone Mtn that's going to be taking my leftover gear and I should be hauling it up there inside of a week but I'm down for a separate trip for shooting. My Saturdays are totally free now.

Sunday's are harder for me because I'm half of the worship band at church. I can get up to Lithonia if I leave right after church by 2 but north GA would put me closer to 4 or later so that would really be too late for me to make it. This Sunday I'm taking my dad to a concert at a church at 7 so I really wouldn't have any time in Lithonia either. Saturdays are best for me but I can make a Lithonia shoot most Sundays. A north GA shoot for me would have to be on a Saturday probably.

This Saturday I have to work but I'm free next Saturday, Sundays are all was open for me, and I'm fine with a shoot Lithonia as well but I think I will wear a bathing suit to the shoe because after about 35 minutes down there I'm sure I'll look like I just got done swimming laps.

Not really a range, just a field that plays the parts of a range once a month.....

Hunting season starts Monday the 15th and most of my weekends will be consumed until sometimes in Feb....
