This is Jesse from AGN, I finally got my GTA account setup and am now able to post. I'm still new to airguns and this will be the first airgun shoot I have ben to and an looking forward to meeting local airguners.

Guys, I don't know If I'm going to be able to make it or not

I have a photo submission deadline, and I'm behind the gun(pun intended). I'm working feverishly on it just the same though. That's why I haven't been posting much the last few days. I will do my best, but definitely no promises. It sounds like its going to be a heck of a good shoot! If only I could teach the dog how to edit photos or mow the lawn...

Man I'm hoping you can make it! Burn that midnight oil.

My #1 goal for the Gladius tomorrow is to get the hammer adjusted for a good shot curve. I guess we need a chrony for that. If Donny can't make it I can bring mine but I usually set it on a table. I don't have a stand like he does.

#2 goal would be to get good chrony numbers on all 6 power levels with usable shot counts.

I can bring my chrony it can run on batteries and has it's on stand.

I went by Publix tonight and got 1 pack of hot dog buns, some cookies, pretzels and will bring a few paper plates and napkins. I'll try to remember to bring a trash bag.

A police officer normally come by the place. He's a man of few words to say the least. But he's warmed up and actually talks a lot lately.

Don't worry about "officer friendly" he's cool. We've tried to get him to shoot, but no luck so far. Just as I feared, I won't be able to make it. Of course, it is a time when it is going to be a great shoot too

You guys have fun, and at least there will be more air/targets/food for the rest of you! I'm about to take a quick break from this photo stuff, to deal with a starling problem for a minute, then back to photos. Happy shooting!

I had lots of graduation stuff to do yesterday so I didn't get out and move the wood someone dumped in the parking area. It's not that much so shouldn't take long to move it off. Side note: How did the 24-120mm lens perform?

Brian and I will be there today. We will be there around 2:30pm. Did anyone else see that Airgun Depot just asked for pre-orders on Hatsan Bull Boss. On, great thanks AD - add more madness to my purchase. I still think I getting the Gladius.

Man, it performed horribly surprisingly

It was missing focus all over the place, and the VR couldn't handle the panning. I was very disappointed after I got to really put it through the paces. I could have done better with the old Sigma 17-70, which says a lot. I took it back, and got the newest version of the 17-70C . I have the Sigma USB dock, so at least I can tweak the focus on this one, and I was definitely missing the wide angle. I think the 24-120 is a much better lens for non-moving subjects, and surely on a full frame camera, but it just sucked for me...

I'm glad you guys had fun, and I'll surely be there next time. I literally just finished my picture junk... Glen, how's that Gladius working out for you now, did you get it where you want it? I still haven't ruled out getting one in .22 long down the road.
